Hello!
As most of you know, I am going into my second year of teaching. It is my hope to create a learning space that inspires movement and gets the students to put themselves in a place and position where they can learn best. As I teach at the elementary level, that usually means that kids NEED to move! Movement is great for their brains and their bodies. However, the supplies for this sort of classroom can be expensive.
I've set up this page to hopefully help me get supplies for my Flexible Seating Classroom. All of the funds donated will go to buying those types of supplies like yoga balls, standing desks, tilting stands, and other great learning areas in the classroom.
I've seen the positive response from students who are not stuck sitting at their desk, but who are able to wiggle while they work. With your help, I hope to have my Flexible Classroom up and running by this coming school year!
Any amount donated would make me eternally grateful. Thank you for all of your support throughout my education and now my career!
