Jessica road to recovery

Lot going on. My wife almost died 4 weeks ago from meningitis caused by west Nile virus, she was hospitalized for 9 days, at the beginning we were not sure what the outcome would be. Her condition didn't seem to be changing much and by the 5th day they discovered she had west Nile in her spinal fluid and that was a big factor in why the condition changed much. The doctors weren't sure how long her stay would be or need I.V so they decided to do a small procedure to put a central picc line to her heart to receive I.V. medication and medicines. This is the first case the Holland hospital ever had and first in Michigan that wasn't in birds . Doctors and staff members did research and also called (cdc) center disease control and other sources on her condition. What started out as a headache got unexpectedly worse at an alarming rate within 10 hours that first day. So I rushed her to hospital fast I could. If I didn't within next 24hr she would had brain damage due to the 2 illnesses or worse death. We have 5yr boy and 9 month baby boy. It is hard for us finding a sitter to watch our children while I can continue to work. I am approved for FMLA thank god, and have my job secured while I care for my children and wife.  I was trained to be her home nurse when home health care was not present and change her I..V. bags and give her proper medicine every 4 to 8 hours but changing I.V. every 8hrs. And my 5yr old son's grandma was able to take him for a week while she rested at home. And my baby my mom was able to watch him whenever she could. Days she couldn't I would have to call in FMLA. Now she is improving slowly I'd still have to watch out for her signs of but now I'm behind on bills. My car got repo yesterday and I exhausted my resources looking for helping hand. This is where I'm at right now. I filed for dhs this morning for food stamps and help with paying gas and electric but was denied help with utilities. We have gotten a scheduled shut off notice from our utilities. I've been contacting community action house but heard nothing yet. I work 5 hrs a day instead of 8-10 a day because of her illness and having to care for the boys until she gets better. I get paid every 2 weeks. Big difference my check stinks. I'm just struggling and even talked to the pastor from church that comes see us at work to see if he can help with getting me anything. I'm tired and exhausted, I'm trying to keep my head up and see the light at the end of tunnel but it's getting harder. My car is now gone my utilities are going be shut off, times have been tough since she has gotten sick. Thank you for your time reading this. God bless.
