Job loss assistance

Dear friends,
I have recently lost my job and after very careful and considerable thought, I am reaching out for some short term support.
My contract job was ended early and the timing could very well cause the loss of my apartment and also jeopardize the completion of an 8 week Audio Recording course that would further widen my job skill set. Most importantly, it could also affect my ability to be close to my father who is in hospice care and depends on me to be his advocate and voice.
I am turning to GoFundMe, amongst other resources to bridge some gaps in the short term and get thru the next few weeks or so. I am anticipating that this is a short term dilemna but with high stakes none the less.
As many of you know, 2016 brought the passing of my mother in January and the near passing of my father in July, amongst other life events that have tested the bedrock of my home and finances to the point where I can’t take another hit.
I am a very seasoned and experienced Web Production professional and am diligently working with several recruiters and resources to find another contract as soon as possible. I am in the interviewing process with a couple of companies but no offers yet, but am very concerned that this could cause me to lose my apartment, support my father and the ability to complete my course. In addition, I feel I have no where to go if I lose my home.
As a last resort and option, I am opening a Gofundme campaign to raise some cash to help get thru the next few weeks to:
Pay for fees, inspections, etc., to get my car registered to drive for Uber or Lyft in the short term to keep money coming in and to help maintain a solid home foundation while I am looking for contract and permanent employment.
To help cover rent and other incidentals and prevent any further disruption while I am working thru this time.
I understand everyone has their hardships, so if you are unable to make a contribution, I completely understand.
If you are able to help, please know that any amount makes a definite difference.
