WHO:
Bollywood Dance Studio is a small dance school based in Perth, WA, Australia. Our students and instructors put together an annual fundraising dance concert to raise a funds to support a chosen charity.
CHARITY:
We raise funds for Shree Trust: School for Handicap Children in Mumbai, India. This school provides free education and vocational skills to all students from local tribal area who are handicapped. The school has over 350 students with special needs. It offers FREE pick up from their door step, education, vocational training & mid day meals to all its students.
PAST FUNDRAISING:
In 2015, we raised $3585 for this charity. Maitri, Artistic Director of Bollywood Dance Studio travelled to India to personally hand over the money to the school and spent the day with the wonderful children and staff at the school. Read more about her expereinces here
OUR COMMITMENT
As a dance school, we feel it is imperative to give back to the society. Through this dance concert, we provide a platform and performance opportunity to all our students.
Our instructors, dancers and volunteers donate their time for nearly 6 months leading uptot the concert. We are very proud our entire team and thankful for their hard work and efforts.
We are hosting the concert in Perth on 25 June 2016.
If you you based in Perth, we would love to have you attend our concert and enjoy a fun evening of Disney classic with a Bollywood twist.
