One, either you are someone that cares deeply about Cote D'Ivoire, or two, you are just a regular person that cares genuinely about helping and encouraging young people in what they do. Either way, you should already be applauded for taking the first step, that is the fact that you are already here reading this.
Your 2nd and most important question could be, where will your money go? Well, your donation whether big or small will go into the ongoing preparation of our 3rd Edition of Miss Cote D’Ivoire Amérique Leadership Pageant. MCIALP is a cultural event that showcases Ivorian heritage in the United States and Canada. The Pageant provides a platform for young Ivorian women in the diaspora to pursue their educational dreams, showcase their talent & culture, while rediscovering and taking pride in their Ivorian heritage. More importantly, the contestants are offered leadership opportunities to speak up for Côte d’Ivoire, by raising awareness on pertinent issues concerning the country and how Americans and friends of Côte d’Ivoire can help challenge these issues. This is just a brief insight on where your donation is going. However, more information could be obtained on our website or upon your request.
Keep in mind that the majority of our members are simple college student that just care profoundly about the betterment of their communities. What you may considered as a small donation could mean a whole lot to them. Take a second and place your self in their shoes, and you will understand the feeling someone gets knowing that there are still people out there that actually cares and want to lend a hand.
