Medical and Basic Expenses for Mary

This is being written by a former classmate of Mary's for several reasons which I won't list.

Mary was savagely beaten by her now ex-fiance.  He did major damage, including breaking and knocking out teeth (The picture was from before that).  He broke both femurs in her legs and injured her back.  She's lucky to be alive.

She now needs dentures, and still faces one major surgery.  She has had 11 now, and with luck this will be the final one needed.

Unfortunately, this has left her on SSI, and the Govt. claims that it's "Too much" and has cut off her extra help for her prescription coverage , she appealed their decision but they told her that it takes at least 16 months to just get a date for a phone hearing.  Medicare said that she cannot get into any other prescription plan until October. She's behind on many things.  

She has medications she must have. and is out of almost everything right now.   She can't get any of her medication ,  she has asthma (The medication is not cheap:  I take 2 of the same).  If she has another asthma attack and doesn't even have an emergency inhalor her doctor said it wouldn't go well.  She also needs medication for Ulcers, and is out of that, too.  

One last surgery plus another 6 months or so and she ought to be able to get back to work.  Right now,  till after the larger upcoming major surgery doctors say she can't work her back isn't stable enough.

With the 11 major surgeries she fell behind on the payments for prescription coverage and secondary medical insurance she had.  If those could get caught up she wouldn't have to wait on the surgery, she could have this summer instead of waiting till she catches up on her own which could take many more months ,and could get back to work.

She wants to work badly.   

Her EX still walks free.  This is Justice?

Please help.  Even if it's just for medicines, but every little bit helps.
