For those of you who have not heard yet, we are waiting anxiously for the Lord to take our Annemarie from this earth to His sweet sweet land; a place where she will have no more tears, no more fears, and definitely no more cancer. She's being taken care of by the best nurses here at the University of Iowa. She's comfortable, with meds to help with any pain, and wearing pink (no surprise there). She can hear us, so we've been listening to music, relaying messages from dear friends, and singing hymns.
Thank you to everyone who has been praying fervently the past week and still praying. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me and prayed for me; you are loving her by loving me. God is providing all of us a strength and comfort that only comes from Him, and for that I am eternally grateful. She gets to meet Jesus before me, and for that I am jealous.
Specifically now, I ask for prayers for her. We are ready for her to leave this world, we want her to go on Home. It's a much better world than we are living in. And of course, be praying for her family members, especially her husband Brandon and her parents and brothers.
Be like The Flash and speed away my friend. Speed away.
Thank you each and every one for everything you have done for us. If you have a box of Kleenex close I would like to share with you the video from their wedding.
