Kim's children's book publication
Hello, my name is Kimberly Rowland, and I have created a beautiful children's book called Nora's Lollipop. The story is based on an incident that occurred at my daughter's school when she was six years old. Now twenty and in college, I have taken the initiative to recraft some of those stories that she endured as a child which are both witty and amusing. This story, in particular, teaches several lessons. 1. Never admit to doing something you didn't. 2. Tell the truth. 3. The importance of forgiveness.
The funding will be used for the cost of illustration and self-publishing. I am currently working with an illustrator, and I had no idea that it would cost so much just to draw the characters!
While I would love for a big publishing company to accept my manuscript, it appears to more difficult than one would think. Not to mention I would lose all control of my work. I'd like to get my book in stores for the Christmas holidays.
The story is about a little girl who is looking forward to receiving her lollipop in school. Why? because it's her birthday and every student get's a big lollipop when it's their birthday. After celebrating in class, the children head out to recess. Upon return Nora's lollipop goes missing. Who ate her lollipop?
I would be grateful for your support and so would the millions of children that read this story.
Thank you
