Jakebs Disease fund

Friends and family,  I come to you all with a broken heart today as we received some bad news last week. Jakeb has been having severe pains in his legs and some pretty obvious weakness when dancing, running and even walking. We have been in and out of several Doctors visits with nothing to report or any answers as to what may be the problem. We have been doing tests to rule out Muscular Dystrophy, which thank God has been ruled out, but unfortunately discovered Jakeb has a disease called CMT( Charcot-Marie-Tooth). It is a peripheral neuropathy disease that affects the outer extremities  and over time deterioration of nerves and muscles occurs, which has begun with his feet. It's possible that he could end up with leg braces or even lose his ability to walk. At this point we are looking at physical therapy to keep movement active, and we will be attending some clinics with different Specialists.This is un incurable disease at this time and unfortunately, the testing and some of the care is not covered under insurance.
