Venezuela is suffering of the most severe drugs and medical equipment shortage in its history, hospitals and clinics are not able to provide patients with treatment do to the lack of the most basic medical supply. People dying needlessly because they can’t find or afford medicine or the most basic supplies. Desperate families, and even medical staff, are relying on the Venezuelan diaspora and small NGOs to source them with supplies. Everything from oncology medicines to insulin, diapers and baby formula.

Venezolanos por la Vida, the Humanitarian Aid Program of the Canada Venezuela Democracy Forum, was created with the purpose of providing some relief to the major Humanitarian Crisis Venezuelans are facing today. The program coordinates, collects and safely sends medical and surgical supply and medicines to health service providers and Human Rights Organization across Venezuela and neighboring countries to alleviate and give some hope to the Venezuelans in the country.
