We are 5th graders at Fernan STEM Academy and we have become sincere friends with our lifeskills population this year. Through these life-changing experiences, we discovered a need for our playground to be more easily accessible for all.
With the help of a local landscape architect, we have designed a wheelchair accessible pathway with a variety of inclusive activities along the route. The total cost is $40,000 of which we have received $10,000 so far in grants.
We hope to complete this project by Sept. 1, 2016 so that the students at Fernan could use it the next school year. The completion of this project is only possible with the support and generosity of caring people like yourself. Please help us make our dream come to life!
