Xen Artist Going Digital Fund
I'm raising for a Wacom Cintiq Companion 2
to transition from traditional to digital works. I've been traditionally drawing for 17 years and over those years have been a struggle with wasting paper, colored pencils and other traditional supplies. While I have enjoyed a part of me being a traditional artist with majority of my appreciated finished works, another part of me wants to get into digital works. A few years back, I invested in a Bamboo tablet to get a start into digital. After a year and a half, the experience was terrible. While getting use to it was not entirely the problem, it was more less the feeling. I had a pain using this tablet seeing how I had to look up to the monitor as I'm drawing on the tablet. My neck hurt over time and the feeling was not great as much as I got use to this tablet. I returned to traditional feeling like I couldn't get into digital without having a tablet with a screen. But display tablets are really expensive and the funds I get at work no matter how much I save wouldn't get a display tablet. So I'm making this in need of funds to get a Cintiq Companion 2
so I can finally get into digital works.

the funds are going towards w/ the price:

Why not go for a cheaper tablet? You don't need this!
As I explained before, I did use a cheaper tablet after a year and a half. Even though I was able to get use to it, it was still a pain having to look up as I'm drawing when I would personally prefer seeing my art down on the screen as I'm drawing. Expensive or not, I need a display tablet regardless. Not that it's a nice looking tablet, but it's a preference and useful for my art.
