Yesterday, I received shocking news. My best friend Dan had passed away the night before. He was only 32 years old. Gone way too soon. My heart has dropped on the floor and I don't know how to pick it up...
Dan was murdered two nights ago by random cowards with a gun and no regard for human life. I've been trying to make sense of it all day and I still can't. He was the most gentle soul I've ever met. He was kind, he was genuine, and he was always smiling. He always saw the bright side of things, even when others couldn't. He was always there through ALL my ups and downs. He had an amazing sense of humor, and the ability to make me laugh until my stomach hurt.
Dan was the primary provider of a household, which consisted of two of his younger brothers and his so dearly beloved father. He was such a hard worker and would stay up late every night to chase that chedda so that he could take care of his entire family.
Please help me raise money so that his family can give Dan a proper funeral but also so they can survive for a while until they recover from this great loss. Truly and deeply grateful for any kind of donation...
