At approximatey 7 am on May 10, 2016, an 18 wheeler log truck crossed the center lane and crashed head on into Michael Folk and his bread delivery box truck.
Michael was air lifted to the hospital with a myriad of external and internal injuries (multiple rib fractures, liver and pancreas damage with internal bleeding, and leg injuries including a crushed femur).
Michael is sedated and in a medically induced coma for the near future to facilitate in healing and pain management. He is in critical condition but stable, however the outlook for recovery will be long and painful.
Michael is a small business owner and sole provider for his family. Medical and business expenses are already mounting.
The Folk family has always been the first to give of themselves to anyone in need and have proven to have true servant hearts.
Michael's wife Crista and their 2 children, Zane and Zoe are maintaining a positive outlook and belief that God will work all things to the good of them that serve the Lord.
