Medical Mission and training/Ghana

In October I will have the honor of going on my first medical mission to Ghana. This has been a life long dream and I can not express the excitment that I feel to be able to travel to a place that is in such great need. I am a Certified Rehabilition Registered Nurse and employeed by a very well known and distiguished Rehabilitation Hospital that provides outstanding care and rehabilitation for all injuries. We pride ourselves in our reputation and are excited to be able to take our skills and knowledge to Ghana.
Ghana does not have any inpatient rehabilitation facilities to assist those who have disabilities. There are very few therapists or nurses that are trained to provide the level of care needed for these critical patients.
Our goal is to assist with training and and provide the knowledge and skills to manage patients who require extensive care and rehabilitation.
Money raised will be used to send a team of nurses and therapists, accompanied by one of our Physiatrist. We will take supplies and training material to assist us in this process.
An opportunity like this doesn't come often, and we would appreciate any donation that you are able to give.
