HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America) is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition. The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students.

This year multiple students from Washington Union High School placed in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd within their respective competitions. Being within the top three has allowed them to represent the school as well as the state of California at the International Leadership Conference this June in Nashville, TN. It's important to note this is the first time a student from Washington Union has ever qualified for nationals, let alone multiple students!

The money raised will be used to cover transportation, food, and other expenses the students might encounter.  Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. We are immensely thankful for the opportunity we have been given and we are glad to be representing both Washington Union and California!
