Christa Waters' Medical Expenses

Hello, I am starting this campaign for my dear friend, Christa Waters.   Christa was recently viciously assaulted after heroically saving her friend’s life.  Christa attempted to intervene as her friend was being beaten by her estranged ex.  The aggressor then turned on Christa and stabbed her multiple times in the abdomen and left large lacerations to her face and hand.  He then fled the scene, and has still not been found.             Anybody that knows Christa knows what a genuinely caring, loving, and outgoing person she is.  She brings love and laughter with her anywhere she goes, and is beautiful on the inside and out. Christa is one of the bravest and strongest people I’ve ever met in my life.  She has kept a positive attitude throughout this entire horrible experience.   
           Besides the physical and emotional challenges she now faces, she also has to deal with the financial burden of mounting medical bills.   She doesn't have health insurance and will now have to find a way to pay for the ambulance and lifeflight ride, the multiple doctors and surgeons that cared for her, and possibly have to pay for more surgeries in the future to correct her scarring. Christa has been a hairdresser for a long time now, and a damn good one at that!  Because of the lacerations to her hand and face, she will be unable to work for quite some time until her wounds heal. 
         She is the type of person who is always willing to help out a friend in need, so please, help me show her the love and support that she is always so eager to show everyone else.  Hopefully we can ease some of this burden off of her and her beloved family during this devastating time.  Your help is so greatly appreciated!  If you are unable to make a monetary donation, please send your love and prayers to her and her family.  Thank you so so much!
