Thomas's Cancer check-up bills

My name is Joan Wilton-Rice. This is my husband, Thomas Rice. Most of the time you hear the stories of cancer patients and the troubles they face and it's while they are sick. In this case, this is what we are dealing with afterwards. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer and thankfully we got it removed. This is where the trouble started, because we now have to take him for MRI's every 3 months and a normal check up about every 2 to make sure nothing spread. We have insurance and it helps, but we are still getting bills for anywhere between $2,000 to $4,000. 
My husband works hard at a steady but not great paying job. I currently work as a substitute and will be spending the summer trying to get hired full time as I have for a while now. Even if I get hired as a teacher this summer, my first teacher sized paycheck won't come until October. 
The amount above is a combination of what we owe now and what we THINK we will owe in the coming months. This is based on February's MRI bill that finally came in, totaling more than $4,000. We have two more of these to go for this 12 months then we go down to 2 for next year.
