On May 3rd, April Copeland's life was dramatically changed due to a horrific motorcycle accident in which she was thrown from her motorcycle when she was hit by an SUV. She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, where she underwent emergency surgery to save her life. April's right leg was crushed and the doctors were not able to save her leg. During surgery they had to amputate her leg mid thigh. She also incurred major trauma to her right arm and hand. The damage to her right side also caused her carotid artery to tear which caused a stroke. The stroke resulted in paralysis on her left side. After she is able to leave the hospital, she will be transferred to a rehabilitation center where she will undergo extensive rehabilitation. April's family is reaching out to everyone to open up their hearts and give any generous donations to help with the financial hardships she will face. Your generosity will help with the medical expenses, physical therapy and the expense of setting up their home to be wheel chair accessible.
