Help get Val's transmission rollin

My name is Cassie Lopez and I am a retired teacher of Oakland Public Schools. I am reaching out to all of you to help my dearest friend, Val Serrant, who I highly respect for his unfledging commitment to the arts and to the children in the Bay. Val is a world famous artist who has given so much of himself , his incredible gift of music and his compassion for our youth ,seniors, the physically and emotionally challenged and anyone in need. 
Several months ago, we collectively pulled together to help our brother get a van. Ase! This was great. Now to complete our mission to keep Val rolling, we need to raise the last $1500 to get a rebuilt transmission installed in his van. Then we all can rejoice in knowing Val will be rolling around the Bay, California  and maybe even other states planting his musical seeds along the way.
