Cleanup Carondelet Park

My interest in improving Carondelet Park stems from living in the bordering city neighborhood, Holly Hills. My husband and I have lived in the community for 2.5 years and have become very fond of the park.Twice a month, I volunteer with a local neighborhood group to pickup litter and trim overgrown areas of the common spaces along the park.

Many family members and friends have asked how they can support the park in ways other than volunteering. I've setup up this campaign to raise donations for Friends of Carondelet Park after learning about this charity through Mayor Francis Slay. 

I would like the donation to be used for a beautification project or to bring art activities to the park, but will leave that decision up to the board of directors to ensure city park lovers interests are met!

Friends of Carondelet Park (FoCP)'s mission is to maintain the park's cultural and historical legacy and ensure its future as a unique, natural habitat and recreational area for the surrounding neighborhoods and city park lovers.

Recently there has been an increased amount of crime in the park, leaving residents and park visitors with alot of worry about the future of the park. I appreciate your interest and support in this campaign.
