Weedle Deeds was created to provide an alternative source of progressive news, opinions, and features.
WeedleDeeds functions free of corporate or "Main Stream" influence. As such, Weddle Deeds does not offer advertising or promote products or services for business. We believe to do so invites bias corporate and establishment influence and delutes the progressive journalistic values Weedle Deeds is based on.
Weedle Deeds depends on donations in order to provide what we view as a MUCH needed news and information source for the progressively minded, as such we are 100% reader-funded. We simply wish to offer a fresh, politically progressive prospective on the events of the day.
Our funding goals are designed to support the cost of obtaining a dedicated server and domain, an upgraded website with more space, and help cover the costs of our planned coverage from the floor of the Democratic National Convention in Philidelphia.
100% of funding will be used towards these costs .
Our staff currently consists of un-paid volunteers, writers and bloggers working to provide accurate, reliable, and in-depth news, opinions and information for the progressively minded.
