Shelter for Shauna 2016

Hello again compassionate Shauna supporters!!!! We are so very very excited to update all of you on the many exciting things Shauna has accomplished this year on her road to reclaiming her dignified place in society. Most importantly, she has been diligently participating in and writing for a book project scheduled for launch late summer. Look for the upcoming article in the La Jolla Light this coming week!!!! As we are all aware, transition to a fully functional life from homelessness is not an easy process and there are many vital aspects which need to be addressed, not the least of which is financial. As we reach that time of year again where we need to sustain her shelter we are again pleading for your help. Shauna has worked toooo hard to have it all fall apart. She has received a weekly stipend to assist in good and very basic needs and is still usually struggling by weeks end. This stipend is only possible because her rent has been covered by your support. We are asking if you could once again put your faith in Shaunas ability to rebuild her life, with our communal support, and give her the chance to inspire so many with her story of resilience, perseverance and hope. Please share with as many people as you can so that we can show the world the power of a community to lift up and celebrate one of its own. We CAN do this but not without you.
