Help Andy Help Others!

Donation protected
Everyone who knows Andy and heard about the earthquake in Ecuador knew that there was no way Andy would not be part of the relief efforts!

I am a friend of Andy's from his EMS days in Colorado Springs and set up this page to help raise funds to continue helping people in Ecuador.  Andy has been in EMS and has done tons of disaster responses, he is well versed on working with responding agencies to coordinate efforts. He has made a trip into the area taking supplies and providing medical care to people in the remote areas around Canoa  He is planning to go back to Canoa early next week.

Andy has received a small amount of funding from friends and family in the US, as well as donations from his church and community in Cuenca, but mostly he has been using his own funds to help others.  All funds, minus the small Go Fund Me fees will go to Andy to buy supplies; water, tents, food, household supplies, medical supplies etc.

A sneak peak of the article:  “Ginger and I had just gotten back from a photography trip to the Amazon Rain Forest and had not even gotten fully unpacked yet. On that Saturday evening the 16th of April, we were in our kitchen fixing dinner when I thought I was getting dizzy.  I looked over at her and she was holding on to the kitchen sink and she also thought she was getting dizzy.  As the shaking got stronger we realized it was an earthquake and although it was not horribly strong, it lasted for 30-40 seconds so we went outside in case it got stronger. Later that night we heard that it was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake off the Northern Coast of Ecuador.”
