My name is Kathryn.  I am a married 39-year-old mother of 5.  I am expecting baby number 6 in mid-June and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in April of this year.  Up until my diagnosis, I was running a full-time day care out of my home, sharing my love of children with those around me.  I started chemotherapy in April and was advised by my doctors to no longer run my day care so I could focus on my own health and the health of my unborn baby girl.  With this recommendation, I can no longer provide financial support to my family.  My treatments will include chemotherapy before and after the baby is born, followed by surgery and radiation.  It has not yet been determined when I will be able to return to work.

This GoFundMe campaign is being started to offset some of the financial hardships my family and I will be facing with the upcoming medical bills, from both my treatments and the birth of our baby, as well as to meet the day-to-day financial needs of raising a family now that I can no longer work. My husband, John, is working, but his focus has been on caring for me and our children and he has not been able to work as many hours as he was prior to my diagnosis. 

We are hoping to reach our fundraising goal of $7,500 before the baby is born on or around June 20th.  Any amount that you can donate to our loving family will be greatly appreciated!!
