Hi, my name is Pasquale Luz. I live in Dubuque, graduated from Loras College, and got elected as national delegate to the Democratic National Convention on July 25-28.
Having worked in Democratic politics my entire life, I'm very humbled to be selected to go to Philadelphia and cast my vote for Hillary Clinton to be our next nominee.
My mother would bring me along with her and her mother and sisters to National Organization of Women demonstrations and rallies. I grew up hearing about this experience and it's surreal to be able to be on the floor in Philadelphia making it happen.
I can't wait to head to Philadelphia but I need your help to combat the exorbitant cost of housing and transportation. State parties have estimated the cost of this trip around $4000.
I would appreciate your support in my participation in this historic event. I can't express my gratitude enough for everyone whose helped me thus far.
