Wheelchair Tiga sub 4 light weight

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kerry. Three years ago on the 23 of May I got injured at work. I was injured whilst working as a teaching assistant.  I was kicked in the back by a pupil which left me with life changing injuries. I had a laminactomy a discectomy and cauda equina. This left me wheelchair bound and I can only walk about 10 meters if I'm lucky. Depending on my level of pain.  I spent three months in pinderfields spinal unit learning to walk again and I found this  very hard being separated from my family. I have six children and a husband. Four weeks ago I gave birth to a little boy  by ceserean  under general anaesthetic.  I had my baby this way due to my spinal injuries. When I came back from theatre things went horribly wrong I started to haemorrhage. I lost twenty units of blood and they couldn't find the bleed . I ended up in an induced coma and ended up having a full hysterectomy. When I woke up they said I was lucky to be alive. I have also been left with three blood clots on my left lung.  I am basically in need of a light weight wheelchair that I can get about on as my current wheelchair is too heavy for me to lift.  The  past three years I have been unable to get out and be independent. I have found this very frustrating and have become very depressed. I now have a 4 week old baby and I would like to get out and about and would like some help in getting out with my son. I would need some adaptive equipment so I can push my son in his pram. The money will fund a wheelchair and hopefully  something to attach to a wheelchair and pram. I hope to raise some money towards this as soon as possible. I have never asked anyone for anything and I am a very proud person but I am in desperate need of help. I just want to be me and independent again . I would like to get back to being me and helping others and volunteering.  I was training to be a scout leader at the time of my accident and would like to go back to this.  I just want to be able to go out around a shop or taking my kids out without someone having to lift my wheelchair out.  Any help will be appreciated so much and I will be able to go out and enjoy my kids again as a family. my kids are my world and I want to be the best mum I can be and having a light weight wheelchair will enable me to do thus. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you x from  Kerry xx
