Help put my Mother to rest

Yesterday, my mother passed away. She was bed bound with advanced multiple sclerosis and had been in and out of the hospital for four years until the doctors insisted on placing her in a nursing home on life support. She wanted to die at home with her family not hooked up to a machine surrounded by strangers, so she chose to be put on hospice where she could spend the rest of her days at home.

On May 3rd around 6:00pm, she started gasping for breath. My younger brother and I were in the room with her at the time. I immediately called hospice with the phone number they gave me  and they sent out an ambulance, meanwhile my brother started panicking and calling her name. I told him to go to the living room and tell our father what was happening. He's recovering from surgery and couldn't get into her bedroom so my brother acted as messenger and kept him updated until the paramedics arrived. They pronounced her dead.

Several hours later after the paramedics left, police wrote their report, the coroners came and took her away. They called a short time later saying a cremation would cost $2,800 and we had thirty days to come up with the money.

This is why I am creating this fund. My mother wanted to be cremated and this is the only way we can pay for it. The extra $200 will cover the urn we want to keep her ashes in. She had a hard life, the least we can do is give her a decent resting place.

My fathers distraught, I'll never forget the look on his face watching her being carried out on the stretcher. They were married for over thirty years and he couldn't even be by her side in her final moments thanks to his own condition. 

Please, we really need the money and we only have till next month to get it. we'll be extremely grateful if you can help us.
