SF Porchfest is an afternoon of community, music, and fun in the Mission District of San Francisco-All Ages, All Genres, All Free.
SF Porchfest has been a huge success and met our goal of bringing people together for a brief moment in a neighborhood and city undergoing divisive changes.
SF Porchfest returned to the Mission District on May 20, 2017 to even better results: more bands, greater diversity in genre, and a larger roving audience. Our hope for the years ahead is for SF Porchfest to continue to celebrate the ideal San Francisco, the one that embraces artists and people from all walks of life, all socioeconomic situations, all colors and nationalities; the city we all want to live in.
SF Porchfest is run entirely by volunteers, including the 200-something musicians who gift their time and talent. It is free to all who attend, and cheap, but NOT free, to produce. We are asking for donations (no amount is too small) to help us recover the basic funding needs of this event such as printing, generator rental, T-shirts and food for our volunteers, banners, stickers, and web support. If you had a great time at SF Porchfest in its first two years and look forward to it becoming an annnual happening in the Mission, please consider giving.
For limited time, we are offering our very popular SF Porchfest 2017 T-shirt as a premium for those giving $50 or more. ($20 retail value.) Please indicate your size in notes: Women's S,M,L, XL; Men's S, M, L, XL, XXL. They run small.
