Funeral Fund For Merriella Crowell

On Sunday, May 1st, we have lost a true Angel. Her name was Merriella Crowell, my Mother. Merriella passed away Sunday morning from a very sudden, very unexpected Heart Failure. She was 58 years young.
In the last few recent years, her health was really getting bad with her diabetes, as well as other conditions. In this last whole month, she was in the hospital. It started out with her being at home and her Diabetes happen to be acting up, causing her blood sugar levels to be extremely high and causing her to be dehydrated.

That was something that happened every once in a while and what we normally did when this happens was take her to the hospital so she can get rehydrated and her sugar back in control, and she would be home within a day or so. This visit unfortunately did not go that normal routine this time.

In addition to the diabetes issues, it was also discovered that she had blood clots in various areas in her body, including her right leg. the clot has prevented blood flow in her leg and made it numb. As a result, she was in surgery 4 times trying to get her leg back in order, with a worse case scenario of maybe getting her leg amputated. 

The results from the operations is that she got blood flow and some feeling back in her leg, but some muscle tissue died and had to be removed, so some parts in her leg wouldn’t be able to function anymore. So she would eventually have to undergo physical therapy and wear a brace to help her leg function.

After dealing with the leg, it was then discovered that she had some other issues. she then had gotten real bad pancreatitis, as well and trouble breathing from discovered fluid in her lungs, among other things.

Through all of that, she was actually recovering, getting better and making progress. As she was getting better and showing progress, they released her from the hospital and transferred her to a rehabilitation facility to start on her physical therapy on her leg. She was only there 3 days, she started her physical therapy, she was making progress, she was also getting back to her normal self, and talking to everybody. Sunday morning came, and i routinely went to visit her. At that point she was fine. She was sleeping. she then awoke when she saw me, she was looking and talking to me like normal, and just like that, it happened. I was the last person she saw and talked to and i witnessed her passing with my own eyes. 

This whole situation has been so unreal, and i am truly at a stand still right now. It happened too soon and too sudden.

My mom was Sweet, Caring, Dependable, and a true rock to my family. My mom was so many things, but a true Angel was what she definitely was. She was loved by many and she was there and cared for many more. I am truly heartbroken that she left this earth so young and so soon, but i know that she is in a better place now.

Because of my Mom passing so soon and while so young, she unfortunately did not have any type of insurance, paperwork, or any kind of funeral funding set up. In addition to that, she actually helped set up so many wills, insurance policies, and other legal documents for so many other people over the years, but she never set up anything for herself. That just shows how much of a loving and caring person she was. 

Because of this, I have created this GOFUNDME page to help raise money for her Funeral expenses. I would like to ask if any of you can chip in and make any kind of donation to help with her funeral expenses, I would be so grateful and appreciated. There is no donation too large or too small, anything would be a big help. She was a wonderful person and touched so many hearts, and i want to make sure she gets the service she deserves.
