Forced to relocate

Hi! I'm Scott Jamison, a 55 year old review blogger SKJAM! Reviews and customer service worker. I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force who has long struggled financially.
The apartment building where I have lived for the last thirty years has been taken over by new management, and they have decided to close the entire complex for renovations. Everyone must be out by September 30, 2016.
As I am a low-paid temp worker with no car who's been living month to month as it is, my move options are limited. I have found a possible apartment at $695 a month, but it requires a $1000 deposit that I just don't have at the moment.
So I am resorting to a fundraising campaign to raise that deposit, the first month's rent, and moving expenses. (The management of my current building says they will reimburse me for the moving company, but I have to pay the company first.)
It would be best if I could have the money by 8/30/16 to make sure the move goes smoothly.
I am depressed to be moving against my will, and will need to sell or give away most of my fannish collections as is, so at least having a place to move into will be a comfort.
Your help will be much appreciated! I will shout out to all donors on my blog. If you give a minimum of $10, I will also link from my blog to your blog or one you designate. And if you can donate $25 or more, I will read and review a book you recommend.
