Jeffrey Komada, a Chicago Public Schools teacher for 30 years, was killed Saturday morning while he assisted another driver after car crash on I-294 in Des Plaines.
Jeff Komada was helping a female driver, who had her young daughter with her to get to safety, he took them to his car. After making sure that woman and her daughter are safe, Mr. Komada was hit by a semi truck.
All donations will go to family to cover funeral expenses.
