Abby Schrage's Fight to Beat Cancer

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, Abby's family found out that her tumors have come back. The good news is they are still curable but the bad news is the road she has to travel. Abby will be spending a 2nd summer plus, going through cancer treatments even harder than the first time. These treatments include up to 8 rounds of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants. She will begin her next round of treatments the end of May. She's taking the news with stride and ready to get feeling better. She and her family are remaining positive through everything, but still will encounter the costs of travel, medical expenses, food, and many other things that arise during their journey this year.

Abby Schrage, 11 years old, was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Tuesday April 26th, 2016. Instead of playing in the last volleyball game of the season with her team on the following Sunday, she was undergoing her 1st round of Chemo Treatment.
Her volleyball team started this Go Fund Me account to help ease the burden of her parents Jill and Nathan. Jill and Nathan have 3 other children, Emma age 9, Jacob age 8, and Catey age 7.
Over the next days, weeks, and months ahead they will need to be at countless doctor appointments, treatments, and hospital stays. As you can imagine the normal costs of every day living...such as home, food, gas, car, etc... and now the added medical costs can be astronomical.
This will help Abby's parents be able to concentrate on Abby getting well and fighting this wicked disease called cancer.
