Let's Help Chris.
We all know the tragic event that happened last week to our hero Chris.
We all know and love Chris, From the heady UUU days as the "guy in the hat" who was basically member #6 of the group, to the captain and owner of the "Grouchy Turtle".
Some of us just know him as Chrissy, a kind and special guy who is a no nonsense friend, who tells it like it is, but keeps the love and friendship sacred.
Chris has been a best friend of mine since the day I met him. He was 16 years old, and recomended to me by a neighbor as someone interested in guitar playing, the music buisness and being part of all the junk that goes with it..
I was the first person to help him dye his hair red, and made him sign a waiver that his parents could not kill me when they saw it. That BTW was the week he bought those blue and yellow plaid Doc Maartens.
For years, we have always been friends. He is an Uncle to my son, he and speak regularly about all topics, especially his buisness in Florida on "the Grouchy Turtle".
Right now Chrissy needs your help and mine. A stroke, is a debilitating situation. It takes rehab and doctors to get you back on track.
With the cost of healthcare skyrocking, Chris is uninsured. Obviously, he could use a leg up, and I ask you his friends, aquaintences and fans or whatever you are to Chris, to throw a few bucks in the pot.
Throw what ever you can. Got a buck? throw a buck. Got ten? Please do.
I appreciate this with all my heart. I don't want Chrissy to lose everything on a random health issue.
I will start, and hope all of you can add on.
