2018 McQuaid XC 25 Hour Relay
Donation protected
This is the 37th Annual McQuaid Jesuit Cross Country 25 Hour Relay. Every year, runners from the McQuaid XC team, alongside members of the McQuaid community, run for 25 continuous hours on the outdoor track in order to raise money for a unique charity or cause. Runners take turns running in one-mile increments, handing off a baton that does not stop moving around the track from 9 AM Wednesday August 29th to 10 AM Thursday the 30th.
This year, the team captains have chosen to support the family of Mrs. Lupia-Vandelinder, an Italian teacher at McQuaid Jesuit High School, whose son Matteo was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer 7 months after his birth. For the past year Matteo has been fighting for his life, and now we ask the McQuaid community to come together to aid one of its members.
