We are announcing our fall PTO FUNdraiser, the 4th annual March for Mars! Our goal is to raise money for the Mars Elementary PTO while promoting health and fitness & having FUN!
March for Mars will be a walk-a-thon for which the students will collect pledges from friends and family. ALL students will participate in a walk on or near their campus during the school day on October 4th (Cent), October 5th (PC), and October 6th (MAE) at a time designated by their principals.*
Proceeds from the event will fund PTO programs for the 2017-2018 school year, including: field trips, field days, assemblies, a teacher-support fund, 6th grade team building and graduation photo, and special needs and projects.
We expect this fundraiser to be a big success and the major fundraiser of the year! It includes the “opt out” program that you are used to; if you choose to contribute $30, you will have done your part to ensure we reach our annual goal and continue to fund the many important programs and activities that we sponsor. Please note: if you “opt out” you will still receive prizes appropriate at the $30 level (see Prizes below).
