Katrina's Summer 2015 Liberty Trips

Summer 2015 is going to be one hell of an adventure for me. On Monday 6/15, I embark on a cross-country bus trip from Seattle, arriving in Boston on Friday the 19th. Through the 28th, I will be experiencing my first PorcFest . (6/29-7/2, I will be doing the hell ride back to Seattle.)
July 8th through 11th, I will be partyin' it up in Las Vegas for FreedomFest. This will be the first time I attend this event as well. The 17th through 19th, I am going to be in Denver for the Students For Liberty Campus Coordinator Retreat. This is my second year being involved with Students For Liberty, where I will continue on as a Senior Campus Coordinator.
If I am lucky enough, I will be able to attend the Young Americans for Liberty National Convention from 7/29 to 8/2 in DC. If I am chosen to become an attendee, I will have to pay for travel from Washington to other Washington (or as I like to say, real Washington to fake Washington). This past school year, a couple of us started up a YAL chapter at our school, Western Washington University. I am hoping that being able to come to an event like this can help us establish a strong base to allow us to grow for next year.
Those are the main trips I am planning to make for this summer. You will most likely also see me at Seattle Hempfest (where I was a speaker at last year , and hope to be one again this year) and the US Cannabis Cup - Seattle (or maybe this year it's in Portland...?).
These trips are not only personally fulfilling for me, but it provides an opportunity for people from the west coast to network with other liberty leaders around the country (and world), and bring back resources to their region. Quite a few liberty organizations have had trouble establishing a a good hold on the west coast, due to the geography and culture. I am one of the people who is adamant in changing this for good.

Due to my darting about the country, I am not able to hold a steady job during this time. From traveling and taking online classes, my usual source of income (writing) will not be as grand as I like it. (Then again, it's not like my writing, as of yet, has provided me with a stable income.) I also have to pay summer tuition and buy a new apartment.
