Colorado Women USA Pro Challenge

Join Colorado's elite female cyclists as we prepare to race as one cohesive team at the inaugural women's edition of the USA Pro Challenge, 2015.

This six-rider composite team is the result of the shared vision and collaboration between Colorado Women's Cycling Project and Spark Women's Racing, Ltd. We seek to grow the sport of cycling, increase opportunities for women in the sport, and inspire the next generation of riders. Six riders have been hand-selected from  four different Colorado Front Range cycling teams, and we're rallying our community in support of this composite team for the 2015 Women's Pro Challenge, in August.

We applaud the USA Pro Challenge for its commitment to women's cycling and for providing a multi-stage event for 2015. We are excited to put on an incredible show for the fans and inspire the next generation of riders in our state. 

 We are invested in growing the sport of women's cycling and openings doors for others after us, and what better place to start than in the first ever women's race at the USA Pro Challenge?

SPARK Women's Racing, Ltd. is a registered business in the state of Colorado, dedicated to the support of women's  cycling. SPARK Women's Racing, Ltd.  will work tirelessly to grow women's cycling and racing at all levels; through grass root local endeavors, along with national and international recognition for the advancement of women in the sport of cycling. SPARK Women's Racing, Ltd.  is acting as an entity that is able to procure liability insurance, financial governance and accountability, and as a management company to serve the best interest of the composite team riders and their success.

Colorado Women's Cycling Project:  Colorado Women's Cycling Project dba Naked Women's Racing was founded in November 2010 by three competitive cyclists passionate about women’s racing.  The group of dedicated athletes share a commitment to a healthy lifestyle through cycling as well as helping the Colorado community. Our goals are to encourage women to engage in a healthy lifestyle through the friendship, teamwork and fun that cycling offers.

Funding will be used in the following ways:

1. Food, nutrition, and rider medical/recovery support.
2. Fueling of team car/race support vehicles.
3. Two soigneurs for team support.
4. Team mechanic.
5. Replacement tires, and equipment.
6. Team care incidentals/emergency funds.
7. Team office support.
