Support For Debbie
Hi friends, welcome to Debbie's Fight.
We are creating this page to help raise any funds for Debbie and the Smith family during this difficult time. Debbie has bravely been battling stage IV breast cancer, which metastasized to her brain, lungs, bones, bone marrow and spine, for 5 years now. She worked full time through a lumpectomy, brain tumor removal, and almost constant chemo and radiation, using only her sick and vacation days...up until this past July, when she was forced to go on disability. She is an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, friend, and a hell of a fighter. She's done everything she could to beat this thing, but cancer doesn't play fair, as everyone unfortunately knows.
Between the cost of her rising insurance premiums, treatments, prescriptions, co-pays, medical supplies, dietary needs, and now with the family trying to come up with money for an out of pocket caregiver to help with her round the clock care...it's become overwhelming. Dennis, her husband, has to continue running his small auto business full time through this extremely difficult time, just to try to make ends meet. He can't even close his shop occasionally to spend all the time with Debbie that he can, because he has to keep money coming in to cover all the extra expenses =(
We are graciously and kindly asking anyone who can, to give even a small amount of $10, in hopes that we can raise enough to pay for the things that are needed and cover the expenses necessary, please feel free to donate here or at the Paypal account we are using, at
Most of all, please just send your loving, positive energy to Debbie and the Smith family during this painful time. Lift her up with all of your love and light...she deserves it ♥ She is so loved, and cherished by everyone that knows her. Thank you all so so much.
I am sorry to hear about Don. Tragic time. How many of us has Dennis & Debbie supported and helped in one way or another? Whether it was a family member, friend or aquaintence, they are always helping someone. Now it is our turn to repay them in their hour of need. Please, everyone, let's pitch in a little and help them out. May God's face shine upon them. I hope & pray they hit their 100%
Thank you to all of my friends who have donated. I'm sitting here reading through the donations and crying. It means so much to all of us. Most of you do not know this, but mine and Debbie's father passed away on January 7th, so this is a very difficult time for our family. All that you guys are doing is very much appreciated. Thank you all so very much!!!!! With much love, Debbie's Baby sister, Linda
