Tstocky Surgeries Fundraiser
For those of you who haven't heard my bestfreind Tyler Stockman had a life changing accident happen on Saturday. He is suffering from a neck/spinal injury and is undergoing multiple surgeries. The surgeons are hoping to insert a plate that will fuse his C5 & C6. We are unsure of what the outcome and future holds but we know that the Tyler’s family is in for a long road to recovery. We will be organizing a benefit/fundraiser in the near future in the Thousand Islands Area. In the meantime, we have started this gofund me page to help cope with the finically burden of Tyler accident. For those who don’t know Ty, he is the the best teammate, classmate, brother and best friend imaginable. He is the type of kid who goes leaps and bounds to help his friends and family. His passion in life is hockey, and we hope to bring the hockey community together to help raise money for Tyler’s operations on the road to recovery.+ Read More
Quick update on Ty, I’m trying to not give out too much information until we hear an official word from the doctors to avoid too many rumors about Ty but what I can say is no matter what happens to Ty, his attitude never changes. I got to spend about 10 hours with Ty yesterday and he had me laughing the entire time. At one point Ty even tried to get the nurses to leave because we were having a “boys day”. Ty’s trying to teach his mother how to use Snapchat to answer all the good luck texts and of course keep his streaks. It’s still the same old Ty, one of the boys. Thanks again to everyone for all the support and send Ty your prayers.
Update 7/31: his morning was okay but the doctors noticed some difficulty breathing. Fluid had built up around his lung but they were able to somewhat resolve that. He is still on the breathing machine to help him out because he can’t really breathe on his own. He’s also having some reactions to his medicines. With all of that being said, he is not up for visitors yet. We will be getting to that point but until then, it’s detrimental that he can rest comfortably. Things can only go up, keep praying and supporting. Thank you all again!! -Kelsey
