“Saint” Isnt Ready To Be An Angel

Hey everybody, my name is Kae and the dog who is pictured is Saint (2 years old). I’m a Marine Veteran, and everybody who knows about veterans will understand this. He’s the only one that loves me unconditionally no matter what, he’s all I got man.... May 7th, Saint slipped from his leash at the house and took off.. I had been following and chasing him for at least an hour trying to get him back before this would happen. Saint ran onto highway 70 here in James City where we live, and was struck by an ambulance right before my eyes.. out of all the vehicles it could’ve been, it was an ambulance. I’ve never heard a cry like that in all my years and it destroyed me as I was holding him on the side of the road. A lot of peouple were very nice and wanted to help but there’s only so much they could do. With that being said, there’s only so much I can do myself, hence why I’m coming to complete strangers for help. I’ve got two options, I can put him down, or I can try and raise the 3500-5000 dollars needed for his amputation.. A specialist from Cary will do the operation if I can come up with the money in 2-3 weeks.. He needs his front left leg amputated because he has chronic nerve damage and the leg is essentially paralyzed. I don’t know what I would do without my pupp, he’s my best friend, my battle buddy.. whatever you can give will help, and if you can’t, that’s okay as well.. I’m not ready to say goodbye to my saving grace yet... I get to bring him home and take care of him until I figure out which route I must take, so I’m begging you all to help me out.. Thank You
