Yousra need help from us to fight with cancer!!

Yousra came to Australia to study in master of professional accounting as an international student. While she was studying, she was working part time to support her financially. In 2017 she developed sudden acute pain in her shoulder. Upon investigation, in her horror she was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer. Moreover, she was advised that her cancer had spread in her lungs. This news not only shook her entire world; it also took away a lot of herself. She went through an extremely traumatised phase including denial and slowly building resistance towards it. She had to come in to terms with herself that she no longer could afford to work as a normal human being. Her treatment started instantaneously, initially involving hormone therapy and then going straight into radiotherapy followed by Chemotherapy. Since she was diagnosed with stage four cancer, according to current medical science there is no cure to stage four metastatic breast cancer the only thing can stretch her life span is though ongoing treatment for life. She was advised the duration of her life span may vary between 2 to 5 years depending on how long the treatment can put a pause to her cancer spreading towards other organs in her body. She has had tremendous support from her husband, beyond his capacity in this journey while both families have poured their heart out to help this young couple financially. However, surviving in a foreign country on an international student visa limits a lot of options and hence while the families have given their best effort, it’s not enough to sustain the treatment here in Australia with their limited financial abilities. Therefore, this is a humble plead to the community for help. Yousra beliefs in miracle manner and that if she could continue her treatment a miracle could happen. Let us help her to keep her hope alive.
