Hey there! Thank you for visiting this gofundme that was set up to support families of fallen Marines from 1st Battalion 7th Marines..... Too many brothers and sisters are falling victim to their own troubles these days and I have been too selfish in my own pursuit to prosperity to drop everything and help those in need. That ended a few weeks ago when I decided to open up this fundraising effort. I would like every last penny that is raised to the families of those we have lost due to suicide, accidental death, etc. The families will choose how to spend the money in honor of their fallen sons, husbands, and brothers to an elite brotherhood.
Some I knew well, and some I never met but that does not matter! If you wore the same uniform I did, stood in the same formation in honor of Sgt. Spitzer.... you are my family, and I have failed you. I quit my job a few weeks ago in order to pursue an opportunity to help raise as much money as possible. The target is high, but I know with a community effort, we can raise as much money as we can to show the world we can help each other out when we need it most. This target is set to end on New Years Day 2019. That's when I will launch my .org which will be a continued effort to financially support veterans, Leo, first responders and their families.
I CANNOT do this alone.... show the world how one initiative can launch a snowball effect of restoring faith in society. If you can spare a few dollars please do so. If you can spare a share on your social media profiles, please do so as well. If the only thing you can do is say "Hey, really like this effort!" Please contribute in any capacity you can.
Mental health is an evergrowing issue within our ranks of active duty military as well as our veteran and Leo, first responder community. This effort will show how a community can come together, regardless of how long it might take and fight for what we believe in. Equal and fair treatment for all those who serve.
