Hello everyone,
My name is Shaquanna Bell. I'm 33 years old and I live in Houston, Texas. Let me tell you a little bit of my story.
I just recently found out (as in the last 5 days prior to this post) that I have 13 other biological siblings. Now you may be asking yourself why wasn't I aware of this. I was adopted as a baby to a family that had eight kids and so finding out about my siblings brings that count to 21! I already had a big family. I knew I was adopted but never really dug any deeper because I wasn't sure what I'd find out.
So finding out about my biological mother and siblings all came from me simply needing my birth certificate and adoption papers in order to renew my license. My niece did some research and stumbled across a Facebook post of a family looking for their last sibling. It turns out it was me!
The reason I am starting this GoFundMe page is for my siblings and myself to have a chance for us all to meet under one roof in order to reunited and learn more about each other. We all live in different parts of the country and this would give us a chance to be reunited.
When enough money is made, we will decide on a central location, month, day(s) and time for us all to meet. Every sibling would be able to benefit from the money raised because it would help pay for a flight, hotel and renting a place for us all to gather (such as a large conference room). The funds would be distributed by individual needs. Siblings with children under the age of 18 would receive more because the children would need to travel along with their parent(s). Those who are single or traveling alone would require less financially.

I would be eternally grateful to have a chance to begin to build a closer bond with the 13 siblings and family I never knew I had.
