Please help improve Levi's education and life! Great blind accessibile technology exists, removing so many limitations for the blind and visually impaired. However, this technology comes with a heavy price tag. While a sighted individual can purchase a printer for less than $40, the blind must spend between $2,000 and $5,000 for a Braille embosser. The sighted can keep a notebook handy to jot notes or write papers, while the blind must spend upwards of $7,000 in order to simply have a portable way to record his written word. By far, the most expensive piece of technology (and by far Levi's most desired technology) is the Brainport v100. Which enables the blind to "see" with their tongues. Links to videos describing each piece of needed technology and their benefits is available on our FaceBook page.
