Hello, how are you doing? I'm very very well (thanks for asking) because, after a year collaborating with three of my close friends who also happen to be amaaazing artists, I have reached the point where my book is finished. As well as beautiful illustration and photography from Marta Zenka, Ellen Blocksidge and Rachel Stanley, the book features 33 poems from myself, detailing my life and the lives I've observed around me over the course of the last three, very interesting years. The book is published by Toothgrinder Publishers.
However, to set it free to roam the world, I need a little final push over the line to help with the initial cost of printing. This is where you can maybe help me.
I'm asking you lovely people to donate a proportion of your pennies as a PRE-ORDER. £10 to be exact. This is the retail price of the book but you also get the bonus of being an absolutely lovely, morally complete person who is guaranteed a copy.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! If you find it in your soul to be even more generous, you could donate even more. And, to be repaid for your kindness, you can receive exclusive, beautifully handmade pieces of art related to the book. I've got together a little list detailing what else you can get:

£15 - Book and Zine. The Zine is made up of bits of scrap poetry and imagery all collated together to create a cool little document.

But what's the book about??
‘1 for the price of 3’ is a collection of poems I wrote from the ages of 19-22, collated together with illustration and photography from three talented young artists.
Within those three years, I’ve begun the balding process, I was belched out of the mouldy gooch of the suburbs into the cesspits and skyscrapers of London and I fell in love and got sad and got happy and drunk beer. The poems discuss this formative stage of my life by exploring the dualistic relationship between the external, physical surroundings I found myself in and my internal reactions to those realities. What I discovered in the writing process is that my response to romance or technology or ambition or religion or chemical abuse or politics manifests in three distinct ways: (1) a doomed attempt to induce obliviousness by whatever means, (2) a contemptible self-pity or (3) a naïve impulse to evaluate and moralise. With this is mind, I created three characters, respectively corresponding to each reaction: Tomboy the Lesbian, The Protagonist and John Smith. The three characters form the tripartite structure of the book. They are the “3” that make up my “1”.
