Help Save Tech50+

For more than seven years, Tech50+ has been bringing quality original content to a tech-savvy 50 plus audience. But this winter Tech50+ suffered a devastating blow when founder and Chief Content Officer Gary Kaye nearly died from the unexpected side effects of chemotherapy used to fight a rare form of lymphoma. The episode left him totally debilitated, with heart complications and partial amputations of both feet. Today, Kaye is still undergoing rehab and learning how to walk again. But the illness has been a financial disaster for Tech50+ and for Gary Kaye personally. It has left the website on the verge of shutting down, and despite Medicare and other insurance, it has left Kaye with thousands of dollars in uncovered medical bills.

We are turning to you, our readers, friends and supporters to help us return to both fiscal and physical health and to help us continue to grow a site where quality, independent journalism can focus on key issue areas for our audience, including connected healthcare, aging in place and technology that will work for our generation.

We are seeking to raise $25,000 so we can stay in business, create great content, pay back debts, and let more folks know about this resource for a 50+ audience.
