<div>Hello Everyone, we are asking for your assistance after our family experienced a sudden tragedy. My wife Alexis Weaver (Fiorillo) suffered a SCAD (Spontaneous Cardiac Artery Dissection) Heart Attack and is in extremely critical condition. I am stunned that my 39-year-old healthy wife had this happen to her. She is a loving Wife, Daughter, and Sister. Mother to several fur babies and my best friend. She is one of the strongest and most empathetic people I know. Alexis is a Retired 14 Year Navy Veteran and a strong advocate for the veteran community. A Gas Turbine Mechanic/Oil King turned recruiter extraordinaire for the US Navy, Higher Education, and Multiple High tech companies. She is currently a Business Operations Manager at Amazon. We are currently taking things day by day, if not hour by hour, as she is treated by the excellent staff of UWMC. We are asking for your assistance as we move forward to help us cover expenses as we face loss of income, unknown medical expenses, and any potential follow-up services, etc. We simply don’t know what the future holds at the moment, but we do know we will need assistance. While we don’t have a clear line of site of what is next, there is the potential for a heart transplant with an average cost of $1.6 Million and/or a lot of care/rehab that follows any path that is laid out before us. I wish I had better clarity for everyone involved, but we simply don’t know. Thus far, I have been amazed by the outpouring of support, love, and empathy from so many people that Alexis has touched through the years.

LuAnn has been a wonderful waitress for many years, lighting up patrons lives. She has also been a selfless and caring family member and friend to so many. She lost the love of her life, Wes, in December of 2005. He was murdered just before his 50th birthday and right before Christmas. Since that day she has endured many hardships and been a caregiver to many ailing family members. Enduring further loss. Most recently LuAnn has been a caregiver to her twin with COPD. She has ALWAYS put others before herself. This year has brought a much bigger challenge with the pandemic and with her health. 


 LuAnn had to take a leave From work during the COVID-19 pandemic and while doing so applied for unemployment and it was denied. While waiting to try and get the unemployment handled; she didn’t feel well and went to the ER. There, LuAnn was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Her form is very aggressive. As of this moment, her insurance is pending to start aggressive chemotherapy treatments. LuAnn’s stress load about finances are unbearable for her. She is only 59! Her 60th birthday is in August. I am asking for anyone’s help to donate any amount Of money to relieve her with the bills that will be coming in. Anything you are willing to donate is greatly appreciated! Hi everyone,  Our 1.5 year old Aussie, Riley, began vomiting a few days ago for no apparent reason. After about 48 hours with no real improvement, we decided to take her to the emergency vet hospital on Sunday night (3/18) where they did bloodwork and an X-ray. Her labs showed extremely worrisome results (BUN of 13, BUN of 153, and potassium of 8.7 - all extremely high and dangerous levels) showing significant kidney damage. Due to her potassium so high, she was at risk of seizures and cardiac events. They hooked her up to an ECG/EKG, initiated continuous IV fluids, medications, and antibiotics.  They decided it was best to keep her overnight for monitoring, and luckily we were able to stay in a bed at the pet hospital with her that night.  The next day, with hopes that things were improving, we were informed they had only worsened, and it was urgent to take her to an internal medicine pet hospital in San Diego to see a nephrologist (kidney specialist) and for an ultrasound of her kidneys.  We drove her down immediately where she was admitted overnight for close monitoring and efforts to lower her dangerously high lab values. After multiple tests from identifying a cause, from autoimmune disorders (such as Addison’s disease or Lupus), to endocrine disorders (such as diabetes insipidus), to congenital disorders (such as renal dysplasia), to ingested toxins (such as ethynyl glycol or NSAIDs), to bacterial/viral causes (such as leptospirosis).. we are still stuck with no definitive causative diagnosis.  Due to her need for more intensive medical management, they are again transferring Riley to the ICU where she can receive the best attention possible.  If this all sounds like a lot, it is. Currently, our vet bills have been $7,000 for Day One, and an estimated $20,000-$30,000 for Days 2 and 3. Luckily, we do have pet insurance for Riley (as all pet owners should).. so insurance is agreeing to pay up to 90% of emergency care costs, however.. pet insurance only reimburses these charges, and not only everything is deemed as a “emergency care cost”.. Right now, we feel extremely helpless. What was originally “maybe just a bug”, turned into a nightmare. Doctors still are not sure what the cause is, but she is stable. Until they are able to try their absolute best in finding the problem, there is no way we can predict a certain outcome. This is all extremely expensive treatment, but we are not ready to give up until we have answers. We have two lab tests pending which we will know about tomorrow, and have the possibility of dialysis treatment (likely only once) to see if her kidneys may be able to reset and heal themselves after a little help.. which is $3-$5k per session..  For Riley’s dad, Peter.. Riley is his world.  We were hesitant to ask for help from friends &amp; family for days, but at this point we feel helpless.  Riley is a special girl and does not deserve to die. My name is Nohely and my Uncle Mike Rivera was on his way to work when he was a victim of a tragic car accident on June 4, 2019 at approximately 7:30 am. He was hit by a man suspected of driving under the influence of drugs. His car was tossed threw the air and launched into a parking garage wall, leaving his car completely demolished. He suffered multiple injuries to his body, including broken ribs, broken leg and  a facial fracture. Due to these severe injuries he is left with a long and painful road to recovery. My uncle is the sole provider for his family and we are requesting your help with the unexpected tragedy that has changed his life.  We hope you share our story today so people can see how driving under the influence can hurt everyone around them. Mike's Road to Recovery

I will try to get straight to the point and give back-story afterwards. Many of you know Reeses and her story and her history with me. Many of you don't know her and I only ask that you read this and consider donating even a dollar to help me help save my best friend, my angel...my dog that has literally saved my life on more than one occasion.  <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/38008564_1553537126973259_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="38008564_1553537126973259_r.jpeg" /> Reeses is in dire need of a fairly expensive surgery, and after spending over $37,000 (yes, three zeros) on her vet bills over the course of her life, she has now hit me with two additional large bills and two even more expensive surgeries. One surgery, the one I am asking for help with will give her a much improved prognosis for an extended, quality of life without constant pain and a chronic infection that will not go away without this surgery and that *will* make her heart disease progress faster if she does not have the surgery. <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/38008564_1553537248951297_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="38008564_1553537248951297_r.jpeg" /> Right now she needs an extensive, lengthy and complex oral and nasal surgery, which her insurance will not cover. I had hoped it would be roughly $1,100 like the last time she needed a few teeth pulled, but I had no idea how bad off she was until we had extensive xrays of her head and body done and an echocardiogram of her heart done. While one might think a grade 4 out of 6 heart murmur would be the priority, after 2 months of over 9 vet visits and an emergency vet visit due to her suddenly bleeding out of her nose, my vets and the oral/nasal veterinary surgical specialist have all placed emphasis on repairing the oral/nasal fistulas (holes that are open between her mouth and nasal cavities), creating  chronic infections when, at its worst, bleed and at best causes extreme discomfort, lack of balance due to sleeping and sleepless nights, for her and myself as she cannot help but try to dig at her mouth and nose and sneeze constantly, expelling infected mucus. She has severe periodontal disease (which was not due to negligence, but the heart murmur kept us from risking putting her under anesthesia as we had not gotten an echocardiogram, a risk profile and protocol for anesthesia, to tell me if she could even go under anesthesia). I've spent over $2,500 in the past two months to get to this point where we know everything that is wrong with her including the heart murmur, a collapsing trachea, severe periodontal disease, several oral abscesses, many many broken teeth, and many fistulas.  My primary vet (which would have be significantly cheaper) is highly uncomfortable with performing this time intensive, sensitive and extensive surgery she needs and has referred me to on oral/nasal surgical specialist. What I though might  cost $1,100-$2,400 (as I have gotten quotes and work from them before) and I was willing to find a way to come up with that money actually ended up being quoted to me at $3500-$4000 this past Friday...if there are no complications. She IS going to get this surgery she needs one way or another, as I am told that out of everything that is wrong with her, the severity of the infections in her mouth and the fistulas can actually cause her heart to fail, so this surgery IS the priority. She CAN live longer...but not without this surgery. I have no hopes of even coming close to raising the $3500-$4000 that she needs for the surgery, so please don't feel pressured. I do not ask for help often, especially in any financial situation, but this dog IS my life and I am going to keep my promise that I made to her the day I purchased her, one way or another... I am asking that each of you kindly consider what this dog means to me (what your pets mean to you and what you would do to help them, even if it meant being humble and asking for help), think of the hoops Reeses and I have jumped through for EACH OTHER... and most importantly, please realize that I promise there is NOTHING in here eyes or her demeanor nor spirit that is telling me she is ready to die and is asking me to let her go. She still wobbles to greet me at the door, tail wagging, she still plays with her favorite blue stuffed hotdog toy she has actually had her entire life, she still "chases" the cat, and she still loves with the heart of a lion...or of a dachshund. This dog has been a fighter her entire life and won battles with every ailment and disease she has had to everyone's surprise, even when I was told she was not a surgery candidate at one point...she somehow healed herself I think simply to in spite of the veterinarian that told me to prepare myself to lose her within the next two weeks. She pulled it together and made a miraculous recovery, which still to this day, the vet nor I know how it happened. The mass that WAS in her chest and clearly visible...disappeared, and her blood work normalized, she started eating again and she peed on that vet's table just to let him know never to say "she's going to pass soon" about her again. Please consider donating even just a dollar or two to help towards her surgical expense and help give this angel of a dachshund a longer life. My vet says that he has seen MANY dogs live with a grade 4 heart murmur for years under medical management, and I even have a friend who had a king charles cavalier that proved his point...her dog lived another 4-5 years with a grade 4 murmur. But the severity of her chronic infections, oral disease and fistulas (which make it impossible for antibiotics to treat the infections with antibiotics...we have been trying for two months) will indefinitely cause her heart to fail at a faster rate if she doesn't have this surgery. HER STORY: <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/38008564_1553537150258575_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="38008564_1553537150258575_r.jpeg" /> Reeses is a 13 year old dachshund that I bought on the day I found out I had cancer 13 years ago. I needed something to be by my side while I went through the scariest thing I had ever gone through at 21 years old. I promised this tiny scoop of puppy "if you stay by my side and get me through this, I will ALWAYS do whatever I can and whatever you need for the rest of your life." I thought she was saving me...little did I know she would soon call on that promise and need me to save her...multiple times over...and I did each and every time. <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/38008564_1553537320928493_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="38008564_1553537320928493_r.jpeg" /> I know with all my heart that at many points in her life, any other person (including family who know how much I have spent on this dog) that would have purchased her if I hadn't would have said "the buck stops here" and would have euthanized her well before the first $25,000 I spent on her from age 2 to age 3. But I made a promise and have not and do not intend to break that promise...  she has cheated death three times in her life...but those three times have added up to just over a $37,000 spend to date, a 2.5"+ inch thick medical record file, a network of more than 12 local vets and specialists at referral hospitals in my area that know her, and her case(s) have even been sent to veterinary schools and specialists in other states for prior conditions/diseases that were near impossible to diagnose... She kept her promise to me and I have been cancer free the past 13 years...now I want to continue to do everything I can to keep my promise to her...and I am asking for a little help if you can. It would me everything in the world to me to help keep my guardian angel in the world a few more years, and I would forever be indebted to each of you for your kindness and generosity if you are able to help me help her, and even if not, if you read this, thank you for caring and taking the time. I would like to try and raise as much as I can within the next 4 weeks. The specialist told me, as I sobbed on the phone with her after hearing that actual estimate, that I didn't need to make a decision today or tomorrow, that Reeses has lived like this longer than I realize and a few days or a few weeks is not likely going to make the difference, so to take a deep breath and know I have a little time to think about things and she said owners always do what is right in the end... and I am hoping that I can do what is right, and keep my promise to her one more time. When she does have the surgery, I will post updates on a weekly basis at minimum for all of you who read and follow or even donated so you can see what you helped do for a dog that deserves everything in the world. My best friend and service dog disappeared in the smoke while we were evacuating in Butte county during the Camp Fire. A neighbor replied to my missing dog fliers several days later saying an older woman with dirty blonde hair was seen calling him over at the bottom of my road, have my had brand new tags with 3 different phone numbers and he is chipped and needs medical attention. She was about 5'3-5'5, in her 40s, or 50s, looked like she had a history of drug use is what multiple witnesses described her as.  Driving a white 4 door Buick century 2000 model. She was seen twice on the 13th of November in Butte then Yuba county. Once the 21st of November on camera in Red Bluff telling a man she had found the dog and had named him Harvey!! She was later seen in Anderson then Redding multiple times. We tracked her through Dunsmuir to Yreka then Ashland. Now were hunting for Harvey and his kidnapper in Southern Oregon. I'm constantly expanding my search perimeters and got Harvey on the news from Yuba City, CA to Porland, OR Be on the look out for this woman driving around the west coast in a 2004 white Buick century or a white utility van. I will not give up no matter how long it takes. Been keeping track of my expenses during this nightmare. Spent over $3,000 on fliers so far, $6,000 in gas, 3400 in wear and tear on my vehicle. (Ill keep this updatedDefinitely had 10k for a reward when this started but I have had to dip into that a lot but best believe the reward is real even if I have to sell my truck to pay it I just want my best friend back. This is so horrible, I have been sleeping in my suv every night the last 2 months besides a few couches I surfed on and the occasional airbnb when my back starts hurting too much to sleep in a vehicle. Trying to be as efficient as possible because every penny counts when it comes to covering ground to find my dog.

Stolen Service Corgi - #helpfindharvey

On the morning of Wednesday August 16th our sweet friend and lesson horse Rebel was found suffering from severe colic. Our amazing veterinarian did all she could do onsite before referring him to West Coast Equine Hospital for urgent treatment. Upon examination the attending vet determined that colic surgery was necessary and would be at an estimated cost of $7,000-$9,000 dollars excluding aftercare. This presents a huge roadblock for us as the funds for something of this magnitude are not available. Please take some time to get to know Rebel through our experience and the experience of others whose lives he has touched.    Rebel came to us as a horse who others never imagined would end up as a bombproof kids horse, teacher and friend. He has helped children who are wheelchair bound find their wings so they could fly, he has helped people with PTSD, anxiety disorders and those who were terrified of animals to find comfort in his patient and kind nature, he has tought some how to be coboys and cowgirls for a day and he has been a friend to others who have found it difficult to find friends in the outside world. He has been a unicorn to little girls and a trusty steed to boys who had big dreams of chasing cows and riding the range. He has always been a tough, strong horse who now needs us more than ever. We are hoping that those who read this will find it in their hearts to help us fund his surgery in an effort to save his life. While we know  nothing is guaranteed and sometimes these things dont end up as we pray they will, we have to at least try for him like he has so honestly tried for all of us who know and love him. Every dollar helps and even if you cant donate we would be forever grateful if everyone could share this with every single person they know.  if we are unable to raise enough for his surgery we will continue to do all that can be can done and cover any of his bills with what has been donated..  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

With life comes loss, and with loss comes change. Change, while painful and challenging, is necessary for growth. Hideout Ranch suffered a significant loss this spring, when founder and trail boss Craig Lawson lost his brief, albeit intense, battle with cancer. As many of you know, Craig was the backbone of Hideout Ranch. His passing has been devastating in so many ways. Our goal is to continue to welcome and escort guests from all around the world through the mountains Craig loved, as his legacy of riding through Southeastern Arizona’s unique history on horseback remains the essence of Hideout Ranch. In order for us to achieve our goal, we must adapt. Hideout Ranch is currently too big an operation for our present staffing, and we cannot operate as we have been. Through much painful contemplation, we have decided we must make the following changes. We will: •     Move our horses and their facilities up near the guest “townsite” •     Consolidate the herd to a more manageable size •     Streamline care of the herd and their facilities •     Move all staff housing to townsite •     Establish a budget and trim the liabilities so Hideout Ranch will have a profitable future We hope to raise a minimum of $100,000 to cover the infrastructure, development, materials, labor, staffing, and overhead to facilitate the changes needed for the future success of Hideout Ranch. There will be photos to document all the upgrades, changes, and relocations. We invite you to keep track of our progress. With these changes, Hideout Ranch can continue, keeping Craig’s dream alive. They have done everything together, from winning Horse of the Year titles, to camping trips, to swimming at Fiesta Island! Late this afternoon, Moxie started screaming in pain while in her stall, and in spite of quick vet assistance, we were not able to relieve her pain. We rushed her to the San Luis Rey Equine Hospital, where they discovered she was bleeding internally. My daughter broke down sobbing, and I knew we had to do anything possible to save her. They gave her fluids and blood and we rushed her into surgery when she was stable enough. She is not insured, so we need help to pay for her surgery. Moxie has taught countless children to ride over the years, bringing home untold numbers of blue ribbons, but most importantly, she is my daughter's first love!
