<br /><br /> I am reaching out to you for our dear friend Korrie, who is bravely battling a vertebral artery dissection at the age of 29. This is a severe condition where a tear in the artery has led to a blood clot traveling to the brain and causing a stroke, further complicating her health and drastically changing her life. <br /><br /> As Korrie undergoes intensive medical treatments and studies, the financial burden has become overwhelming. <div>Update! Ledger had his surgery a little over 4 weeks ago. We have experienced an absolute roller-coaster of emotions, we've had to process each step of the way and we've had to advocate strongly for him!

<div>He was on life support and the team felt he was in a good place to be taken off so he was off for 3 days and ended up back on life support. During the 2nd time he was on life support we had multiple care conferences with the team discussing long term care, putting a Berlin in which is another type of support for him which could be a bridge to healing or possibly a heart transplant. Brady and I couldn't even grasp that that's what we were faced with for our son. After his cardiac arrest his left ventricle pressures were high, that's where the long term care and possible transplant came into consideration.

<div>We weren't confident moving forward with this decision we couldn't understand that our STRONG boy was going to possibly need this type of intervention! We waited for a 2nd opinion from Texas which felt rushed because they wanted to move forward with the berlin machine last Thursday.

<div>Our final plead to our team was please check his left ventricle pressures one last time before we committed to the long term care. This changed the course of our care drastically because when they checked again his #s were down! When I tell you he amazed the doctors that would be an understatement. That Thursday instead of doing the surgery to insert the Berlin for long term care he was scheduled to get off of life support once again! In these 2 weeks he has moved MOUNTAINS!

<div>He was lifted off of his paralytics, they felt comfortable closing his chest and he is starting to slowly get off of his sedation meds. We watched our son prove how strong and resilient he is! The team is cautious but optimistic! We will run with all that HOPE and we are confident he will only continue to move mountains and HEAL!

<div>I know there is so much going on in the world and every other day it seems like somebody else is posting a GoFundMe. But let me tell you about<strong> my nephew, Ledger</strong>. Ledger was born in November 2022 with a heart defect. We are so grateful that the doctors and surgeons were able to save his life but they kept saying, “He will still need another open heart surgery.” Over the past 20 months he has grown into a strong little boy. He is the sweetest and smartest little love you could ever meet. He loves to eat food (especially salt and vinegar chips) and he loves to point at trains and airplanes. Last Monday, it was time for our sweet baby to have his second open heart surgery. He underwent 10 hours of surgery at Seattle Children’s and early Tuesday morning he went into cardiac arrest. After 45 minutes of CPR, they were able to bring him back to life and placed him on an ECMO machine, which in lay man’s terms is a life support machine. He has been growing stronger in this last week and we were hoping to get him off the machine and well on the road to recovery, but he is just not ready yet.

<div><strong>My sister is a small business owner who cannot work with her clients while she is away</strong>, my brother-in-law only has so much paid time to take on leave. They have been sleeping at Seattle Children’s for over a week with no end in sight. Having to start a GoFundMe to help with bills while your child is on life support is so sad, but that is where we are at in this country. If you can give just a few dollars, it will help this beautiful family survive. Parents shouldn’t be worried about buying food and paying bills while their children are undergoing major surgeries. First and most important, we ask you please take a moment to lift Colin and the entire Staggs family up in prayer. We are also asking for prayer for discernment and wisdom for the parents, doctors, nurses, social workers, and family members as we navigate through this difficult time.  We have all our faith in God, and believe HEALING is ahead.

<div>Colin was diagnosed with Leukemia Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022. At 14 years old, he is one of 5 siblings. He comes from an incredibly hard working, faith driven family. Colin is a very selfless and caring person towards everyone. He spends most of his time mastering songs on the guitar and loves going to church and hanging out with friends. He's an amazing person to have around and will always find a way to make you laugh. Colins father, John, is a Glazier in the union and the sole financial provider of their family. His mother, Jackie, is the center stone of their family household being the family's full time caregiver and education provider as she homeschools all 5 kids. The entire Staggs family is incredibly active in their church, sports, and spends most, if not, all of their time with their extended family and close friends.

<div>As of now, we are blind to many aspects of what the journey ahead has for the Staggs family. What we do know is Colin will be in the hospital the better part of the next 6 months fighting his fight with cancer. We know Jackie and John will have their time split between caring for him and their 4 other children, we know the emotional toll is going to be far greater than anything they encounter at this point. With that, our goal with this fund is to take as much, if not all, of the financial strain off this family. We step out in humble faith, to ask you to assist in this process. Donate to help Colins battle against Leukemia

Dear Family and Friends,<br /><br />As many of you may know, Frankie has been battling drug and alcohol addiction for his entire adult life. He has gotten sober in the past with help from a sponsor, active use of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, attending and participating in AA meetings, and residing in sober living houses otherwise known as Oxford. He has always taken those steps after detox then attempted to maintain sobriety without continued professional care. Although these resources have worked for Frankie in the past, none of these things have addressed his severe mental health issues including his depression, anxiety, and PTSD. <br /><br />Unfortunately, the cycle continues with Frankie. He is currently in an in-patient drug treatment facility after another relapse. Thankfully, Frankie is 100% willing to get and stay sober for good but we need your help to pay for his ongoing treatment. We can’t do this alone. We are in our darkest hour and we are turning to you, our family, and friends, for help – anything you can do. Anything would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time but we truly believe it will be successful because Frankie will finally receive the help he has needed all along. This is not only for Frankie’s sake but for his 3-month-old daughter, Willow, and his 23-month-old son, Frankie. They need their daddy back, healthy, and sober.<br /><br />Bri is trying her hardest to support herself and the kids now. She is currently working again but she has been a stay at home mom for over two years and didn't plan on this sudden change in lifestyle. On top of paying for childcare she also must find a new home to live in and be able to carry the entire financial burden of supporting two kids under the age of two. She won’t be receiving child support while Frankie is in treatment. She won’t have the father of her children around to help with the kids while Frankie is in treatment. <div>She’s a wife, a mother to four boys, an amazing friend and mentor, and a previous group fitness instructor and studio manager. She’s giving, loving, and throws all her energy and her whole heart into our beloved community, while still making time for her friends and family. She consistently supports the people she cares most deeply for.

<div>Now, more than ever, we want to show our appreciation for her and all that she does, and give back to her.

<div><em>Some backstory -</em>
</div>
<div>What she thought was just intense back and hip pain ended up being - <strong>Metastatic Stage 4 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) with the EGFR mutation</strong>. At time of diagnosis - July 1st 2024 - the disease had already spread to her liver, lymph nodes, spine, pelvis and hips, resulting in the pain that she’s been feeling in her lower back. Kelsey has never smoked. <em>Turns out, anyone with lungs can get lung cancer.</em>

<div>She was immediately admitted to the hospital with a collapsing spine - her L5 vertebrae had decreased in height by 50% from being consumed by the cancer.
</div>

</div>
<div>Since then, Kelsey’s life has been doctor appointments, calls with insurance, radiation treatment, taking lots of medication, MRIs and CT scans - all while trying to make life feel normal for her kids. 
</div>
