<div>Hi Friends &amp; Family,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I write this with such a heavy heart. The weight of bad news has collapsed all those things we find familiar in our home and family life. The last 20 years Indra and I have been partners in life, partners in crime, partners in love and music, raising our amazing boys Mikko &amp; Marlon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All the crazy adventures you can think of, we've probably shared together. I hate to say it but this is another one, unfortunately it’s not going to be fun. Indra has been diagnosed with a Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer that is operable but with over 6 months of treatment chemo and radiation potentially followed by surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On the morning of August 1st Indra collapsed with internal bleeding after clearing out her mom's house who had just passed away from cancer herself. Indra had been in Madison, WI since her mom's diagnosis in May providing her mom with end of life care all while taking care of and assuming guardianship of Brahmi (Peach), her older sister who is non-verbal and alternately abled and requires full time care. Their mother, Velga was Brahmi's full time caretaker until her passing May 26th when Indra took over as Brahmi's guardian.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Indra was preparing to return to California to be with us on Tuesday August 4 but ended up stuck in St. Mary's Hospital in Madison on August 1st for an emergency procedure, tests, diagnostics and healing due to the amount of blood loss from internal bleeding. I had to fly out early Monday morning and was with her at St. Marys hospital in Madison for 5 days until we were able to fly Indra safely back to California. Due to her level of blood loss she needed assistance to fly safely home and has a regimen of iron infusions for severe anemia as of now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of her risk for bleeding and the necessity to act fast, on our return she had to get an Oncologist in Santa Barbara and resume her hospital stay at Cottage hospital for anther 5 days of tests and figuring how to approach the cancer/tumor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'll just say that I am so thankful that Indra is still with us and able to have caught this. It's beyond lucky she was staying with her close friends Laurel and John who's quick thinking and taking Indra to the hospital for sure saved her life. The pain of the fear of losing someone you love is not quite like anything else.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're asking for help with Indra's medical co-pays and for travel and integrative care during her radiation and chemo and potentially surgery. This situation also puts a strain on Indra's shop Lilija she just opened. We are hoping to get counseling for the kids as this is no cakewalk for two teenagers 13 &amp; 15, let alone any adult.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Indra has been up and in good spirits trying to prepare for when her cancer treatment begins in the next week or so. She will be receiving 6 weeks of chemo + radiation therapy, followed by 4 months of IV chemotherapy. We're trying to help her get her strength up, walking and moving, eating super healthy. Her blood count is still very low (they say it can take up to 3 months to replenish)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m at a loss, short with words and in shock, lots of tears and doing my best to hold it together. Indra is my best friend, she's kind and gentle and deeply loving, she's got a wicked sense of humor and is an amazing mother, I love creating things with her, music and art and projects. We were starting to work on new Peaking Lights material before she went to Wisconsin in May. We've been talking about how we're going to start playing shows and traveling again when she overcomes this... I love you Indra, we love you Indra.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks for reading and any help is greatly appreciated.

Indra's Stage 3 Cancer Treatment & Recovery

<div>
 To friends of Happy House,
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The time has come to ask for your help. We have been pushing back on this moment for a long time but we simply can’t do this without help from the collective. San Francisco's art and culture ecosystem is so incredibly special and important, but as we all know, it is so incredibly difficult to stay afloat. With so many unique artists here in SF, we must help each other to exist in this moment. For many social, economic, and political reasons, the odds are against us. We are in danger of becoming one of the many special places (that could truly only exist here) which might not make it.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Over three years ago, we founded Happy House with a simple but urgent mission: to create a physical space where local artists could thrive by showing and selling their work directly to the community. We wanted to make San Francisco's creative spirit visible and accessible to longtime residents and curious visitors alike. As more spaces like ours disappear every month, that mission has never been more critical.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are so proud of the real and tangible accomplishments we have had over the past three years:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<ul>
 <li>We've activated our local community in North Beach, bringing life back to a historic bohemian neighborhood through events and programming that didn't exist before us.</li>
</ul>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<ul>
 <li>We've built a gallery with a unique point of view, one that celebrates the outsider, the strange, and the marginalized. We've opened our doors to first-time curators and artists showing their work publicly for the very first time, as well as seasoned artists with extensive history.</li>
</ul>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<ul>
 <li>Through our consignment program and gallery shows, we've showcased the work of over 100 (!!!!!!) local artists. Bringing artist’s creations directly to audiences, bringing money directly to our community.</li>
</ul>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<ul>
 <li>We've used our platform to speak on the issues we care about, from fighting for a livable San Francisco for working people, to standing in solidarity with a free Palestine.</li>
</ul>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<ul>
 <li>We’ve worked with so many creative friends to put on two incredible (and big!) parties featuring live music from some incredible bands, raffles with prizes from some of the most talented local artists, as well as our favorite local businesses, and even an old-school psychedelic liquid light show!!! We have held countless pop-ups, from our beginnings at The Ferry Building to our HH x Wacky Wednesday markets held at Vesuvio.</li>
</ul>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>And to be transparent, we have poured everything into these last 3.5 years without any monetary gain</strong>.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Our goal was to be part of the solution. To build something uniquely San Franciscan - programming and art you simply cannot find anywhere else. We are endlessly grateful to everyone who has supported us by shopping, showing up, spreading the word, or volunteering your time. Without your enthusiasm, energy, and encouragement, we would not exist in the first place. But we are struggling.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are still carrying start-up debt that is severely limiting our ability to bring in new work, keep our space filled and reach new people. This debt is affecting our ability to exist, especially as foot traffic and tourism in our neighbourhood is slow to grow. North Beach nightlife and culture is on the rise, and we feel lucky to have been a part of that, but retail in the area still lags.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We don’t know what the future holds for us now, but we hope by leaning on our community, we will at least be able to catch up, stay afloat and make the changes we need for our business to grow and thrive. Every dollar keeps this space alive, keeps artists on our walls, and preserves a little more of the real San Francisco.
</div>

Action needed: Help Melanie Face Stage IV Cervical Cancer with Hope and Care<br /><br /> My name is Monica, and I am Melanie’s oldest sister. I am writing this with my daughter Gabriela. A month ago, I received a message that changed everything—Melanie has Stage IV cervical cancer. That has spread to her bladder and bones, and she is now facing the fight of her life. Melanie has faced tremendous hardship, trauma, and addiction throughout her life, but through extraordinary strength she completely rebuilt her life. From a young age she was a determined fighter becoming a 3 time national champion in Tae Kwon Do. Her passion to explore the world of arts lead her to becoming a photographer, a top shelf mixologist and professional make up artist/stylist. She transitioned her life and dedicated herself to healing and found purpose in Kerala Ayurveda Wellness Center and Academy under Dr. J. Kodinnath, as well as Clarity Breathwork with Dana Dharma Devi and Ashanna Solaris. If you know Melanie, you know her humor—she is truly the funniest person in our family, always able to make people laugh even in the hardest moments. Melanie will begin urgent chemotherapy and radiation at UCSF, Monday through Friday for the next three months. She must relocate to San Francisco immediately to be near her care team, as travel after treatment will not be possible. We are seeking an Airbnb near UCSF, as patient housing is currently unavailable. Donations will help cover the cost of housing, and recovery treatments not covered by insurance. Providing Melanie and her caregivers stability and support so she can focus on healing. We are humbly asking for your support. If you are unable to give, please share her story and keep her in your prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support. May God bless you.

<div>hollywood is having her long awaited facial feminization surgery on june 11th! we are so excited for this new era of miss hollywood and we are asking for support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>because of her many compounding and painful physical disabilities and autoimmune condition, we are preparing ourselves for a longer than average healing journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>we are asking for help in covering her rent for two months, groceries, and supplies for her recovery. anything left over will be used to chip away at her outstanding medical debts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>hollywood works so hard behind the scenes and on the ground for trans community experiencing homelessness. through her day job she provides so much care and comfort to folks who are otherwise over looked. this is an opportunity for us to take care of a care taker, and reflect back to her the kindness and care that she provides in droves for us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>due to mishandling of disability accommodations at work, she may be forced to take this time off unpaid, as well as any time she may need to take off due to pain in the month following her surgery. this is why we are asking for support with two months of her rent, to relive any stress that may force her to push her body past its limits while in recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>i love hollywood so much, and i know you do too. she deserves to step away from her very emotionally and physically demanding work to take time for herself, and to heal in peace without worry. any amount of support, wether financial or through caretaking and smoothie making, will be so appreciated and held with deep gratitude.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>thank you so much for reading and considering my sweet girl!!

Support Hollywood’s Healing Journey

Hi friends. On April 29th, after enduring more than a year of daily pain and discomfort, our dear pal Jonnie Fellman will undergo a much-needed hip-replacement surgery. This is the long-term result of a serious car accident forty years ago, where his leg was broken in three places. After surgery, Jonnie will spend ten days recovering with family before returning home, and he will be unable to work—and therefore earn any income—for at least a month. We hope that once he recovers fully, Jon will be pain-free and as good as new, but until then he could really use some help with post-surgical and daily life expenses like rent, groceries, and bills.
<br>
<br>
 As many of you know, Jon has spent decades in the greater San Francisco community helping to heal others and ease their mobility issues through acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and bodywork. Now’s our chance to help Jon recover from his own injury with less stress and worry, so that he can return to doing the work he loves without physical and financial pain. If you’ve ever received any sort of healing care, or gotten a good music or book recommendation, or even spent a night or two (or like some of us, a hundred!) dancing and laughing and talking about everything under the sun with Jonnie, please help if you can. Thank you.

<div>Hi, I’m Kristin, I own <strong>VACATION</strong>.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>VACATION has ridden the wave of trials and tribulations of being a small biz since 2012 in SF. With all the ups and downs, we have never asked for financial support before.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On April 10th, I left town for a month and a half long buying trip. It’s half working holiday (the thrill of finding and rescuing old stuff), half reminder to not let your business completely consume you, and to take some time in this short life for adventure. I work all the time. Imagine leaving town with that as your goal and then your shop catches on fire.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On April 17th, asleep in bed in Kodaka, South Dakota, my shop's security alarm went off. I woke up to the alarm phone call that my store was on fire. The security cameras were so smoky I could only see flashlights and the reflective vests of SFFD. This is my actual worst nightmare.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My first thought was - I hope it hasn’t spread to the building and no one is hurt. My second thought - call Karlie - NOW and ask her to please RUN to the shop. My third thought was - what will I do from here, 2000 miles away, if it’s all gone? And how can I ever fix this from so far away? And what’s the fastest way to get home from the middle of nowhere? And then I started to cry. If we don’t have inventory, we don’t have a shop. And if we don’t have a shop, that’s 6 people without a job. Imagining that all the old things I’ve personally picked out for a whole store - they lived this long only to burn up - taking my whole magical Vacation with it. All the memories of 13 years. Gone?

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Our North Beach neighbors have come to our rescue. Turns out the fire was stopped almost as soon as it started because three people called 911. S&amp;S grocery, our neighbors, saved the day. Thank you to the other 2 folks that also called in - I don’t know who you are, but thank you.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The light fixture in the dressing room caught fire, and the plastic fixture slowly burned, dropping to the floor and burning a rug that was over tile. That old rug and that old light fixture saved us. Slow-burning wool and melting plastic make a lot of soot and smoke, but the fire didn’t (thank god) jump to the curtains. But it made a ton of smoke, and the neighbors saw it.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We got so lucky. There was soot and smoke damage everywhere, and a big black hole on the floor. We really got so lucky.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Since the second I called her, Karlie, my shop's manager - but probably more one of the dearest people in my life - has been taking care of it. “KK, don’t come home, there’s nothing you can do here that we can’t. Stay on your trip, we can fix it.” I didn’t come home because I knew she was right. She’s been spearheading this operation. She dealt with the firemen. She thanked the neighbors. She organized a plan of action, a cleanup crew, supplies. She’s FaceTiming me and calming me down, and well, she’s a hero. We have another hero - Riley - another earth angel here at Vacation. These two haven’t stopped since the fire. Quite possibly the best attitude and enthusiasm, and let me tell you guys - I can’t imagine a world without both of them. ‘Employees’ aren’t supposed to care this much. I don’t even have the right words for the gratitude I have for them, and I don’t have enough money to pay them what they deserve for this.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am realizing that a credit card should not be used as an insurance policy - and that an insurance policy doesn’t work for what it’s supposed to. After calls and some basic math, it will end up costing more to file a claim. That system is completely broken.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>I need to pay my employees extra for their time and effort.</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>I need to pay some of the volunteers that have put in 10+ hours each.</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>I rented ‘air scrubbers’ for 4 days.</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>No shop income for 4 days and counting (this is major).</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>Cleaning supplies + cleanup solutions and tools + laundry detergents and smoke clearing solutions.</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>Dry cleaning for all inventory that can’t be washed (that’s all the antique and true vintage pieces, all our silks, all our antique quilts and textiles).</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>Repainting the shop + supplies to paint.</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>Replacing the door frame SFFD had to break to enter.</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>Unbelievable amount of laundry.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The outpouring from the community has repeatedly brought me to tears. Feeling so helpless and out of control, and then miraculously things are under control - everyone is safe, my staff will still have jobs, my shop will stay open. Guilt for not being there every single second, and I’m proud of myself for letting go, a huge step, and letting someone else take the reins. That’s exactly the lesson I left on this trip to learn, although I would have appreciated a less stressful method to learn it!!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I've had about 20 people offer to make a GoFundMe for us and decided today to do it.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you to everyone that’s shown up - we’ve had an overwhelming amount of people donate time, leaf blowers, quarters for laundry, pizzas, water, beer, encouragement. It’s humbling and it’s awesome. We really all do take care of each other.Thank you everyone that has helped, and can help, and sent words of support and encouragement and well wishes.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>It’s incredible ❤️ To see that Vacation is beyond <em>me</em>, that it’s a thing that means so much to so many people, I can’t believe I get to be a part of that with you all.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Love from the road,

</div>

<div>Kristin

</div>

Help VACATION recover from a shop fire

<div>Kristina and Imaad are two of my oldest and dearest friends.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As long time Altadena residents, they were forced to evacuate with their son, dog, two cats, and so many other residents of their beloved community. Unable to go home, it has been a struggle to get through the displacement.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The toll this is taking on them financially and emotionally is tremendous. Though they would never ask for help themselves, I am asking on their behalf.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their house survived but much of the contents are unsalvageable. As they are both independently employed, their house is their work space and facing these financial setbacks with no home base has been a difficult task.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through the generosity of friends, they've been able to keep a roof over their heads but it is now clear that they'll need more semi-permanent lodging and work space as they try and figure out how to move forward through the aftermath.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While it is uncomfortable to ask for help, especially as so many have lost so much, Imaad and Kristina and family are in need as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thank you for thinking of them and donating. Anything helps!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sincerely,

Fat Tony: I Lost My Home Today

<div>Hi my name is Tiffany. I am 44 years old. I need a double lung transplant. It's scary, even daunting, to contemplate. As you can imagine even with insurance this is a very expensive procedure. I was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease in July 2019 and in July of this year 2021 I was told I have Short Telomere Syndrome which led to idiopathic familial Pulmonary Fibrosis. I have had genetic testing and have been found to have the TERT/TERC mutation as well as STS. My aunt died of Pulmonary fibrosis. I have been on oxygen 24/7 since April of this year. Thankfully my oxygen requirements remain stable at 2L O2 at rest and 8L O2 on exertion. I have 16% respiratory function. I am taking Ofev and I am enrolled in a clinical trial at TGH. I have less than a year and a half to live/transplant time. I need a transplant to live. I love life and I want to live. I have not been placed on the transplant list as of yet because my BMI needs to be under 30. I am working on it and I am well on my way. I have lost 20 lbs this month! SS disability and Medicaid will not cover a lung transplant. I need to remain commercially insured. My employer does not offer short or long term disability at this time. So I am toughing it out to keep my insurance.
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/60548585_163421736773030_r." width="100%" />
<div>If you know me, you know I like to think I am super tough and can get through this. I just need a little bit of your help to make sure everything is covered.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can't donate and If you're not a donor yet, I ask that you please look into it and know that one person can save eight lives. Please consider becoming a donor and fill out your donor card because you do need to give consent.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If I make it through this, and I know I will, I will pay it forward by remembering the golden rule and making every breath count.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will guarantee that I am is cared for and can cover the costs of this. Any amount is greatly appreciated, and even if you can’t donate at this time I ask that you please share this post. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a wonderful day. xx Tiffany

Tiffany needs a lung transplant

<div>In August, Sarah was given the serious and shocking medical diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Within days, surgery and months of treatment were being planned, and Sarah and Matt immediately needed to stop working to focus on Sarah’s health and recovery. The out-of-pocket medical expenses for specialized treatment and the weeks of going without work will leave Sarah and Matt without sufficient income for some time. Any funds collected will go directly toward medical expenses and paying for day-to-day living while Sarah recovers. Matt and Sarah will share more personal updates as Sarah's road to recovery stabilizes.

<font color="#333333">Hi Friends!!<br /><br />Who's the funniest and hardest working guy we know? It's Sean! <br /><br />Sean and Rikki have been in the Vintage game for years- and they are really some of the best people out there. <br /><br />On Monday September 25, Sean was doing what he does- picking for treasures when he fell out of a 12 foot loft, landed on his back and fractured his spine in three places. Yikes. Sean spent a few days at Sutter Hospital in Sacramento with some very rad friends keeping him in good company and spirits. He's lucky to have some more very awesome friends letting him stay with them while he recovers from the initial shock and extreme pain- all of this is here in California- 1500 miles from his home where Rikki and the kids are. <br /><br />Sean, Rikki and their two sons live in Montana- and together they have Roslyn Trading. Rikki runs the online shop from home with the kids, and Sean drives sixteen hours to the West Coast - MONTHLY to source and sell at Fleas. These two have been leading the game of "craziest shirt you've ever seen for sale" for YEARS.  <br /><br />You know what you can't do with a broken back? Drive anywhere- unload and load a van- lift anything- climb stairs-pick up your kids, shovel snow- sit in a bathtub -all of it. It's about to get very really and super frustrating being on bed rest and mostly immobile for the next five months. And Sean's gotta get home first to Montana before he can start to recover. Once home- he's not going to be able to work- this leads to uncertainty and instability financially and that SUCKS. <br /><br />These guys aren't the go fund me type (a lot of us aren't- it's a humbling thing to ask for this kind of help) but an overwhelming amount of friends have already stepped up to offer any help, ask where they can donate-and here we are. <br /><br />Sean has insurance in Montana, his accident was in California- it's uncertain what the bills are gonna be- emergency room, CT scans, MRIs, X-rays, hospital visit, PT and recovery- it's gonna be a full time job for these guys navigating the expenses and it's shouldn't be. <br /><br />If you've ever met Sean and Rikki they've undoubtedly put a smile on your face and a few real Laugh till ya cry moments and just the best vibes every time. Anyone  able to help these guys out during this freak accident - wether here or buying from Roslyn- now is  crucial and it means the world to them. <br /><br />The Vintage community is pretty amazing- we're all weirdo trippers that stick together - so let's do what we can to help Sean while he's broken!! <br /><br />Thank you if you're able to help make the road to recovery a little easier - ♥️Sean, Rikki, Sterling and Dee Dee ♥️</font><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/75624107_1695791184968223_r.jpg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="75624107_1695791184968223_r.jpg" /><font color="#333333"><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></font><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/75624107_1695791288803989_r.jpg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="75624107_1695791288803989_r.jpg" /><font color="#333333"><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></font><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/75624107_1695791201490448_r.jpg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="75624107_1695791201490448_r.jpg" /><font color="#333333"><br /></font>

Help Sean & Family recover from a Spinal Injury !

<div>As some of you may have heard, the most loving creature on the planet was caught in the crossfire of violence on Monday 9/4, and was shot in the hip. She is on a stable road to recovery after surgery and is in good spirits as always. Our hard-working baby girl is gonna need lots of time and help recovering from this tragedy. Her small business, Heads or Tails, is so near and dear to her, and supports so many in the creative Bay Area community. The business will need extra support to keep going during her healing. We all know how much she gives her energy and positivity to the world and how much she will appreciate feeling your love coming back to her.
</div>

Help for Our Wounded Angel

<div>We're helping raise funds for <em>Ervin Lockett</em>, kitchen manager at The Earl in East Atlanta, rockin musician, and all around great family man who was recently hit by a car during a night bike ride. <strong>He broke his pelvis in 4 places, broke his hip, and suffered major internal bleeding resulting in two major surgeries and weeks of potential physical therapy that will keep him off his feet for quite some time.</strong> All of the funds from this will go towards making sure the hospital bills and all other bills will stay paid as he wont be able to work for a while.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Erv is a community pillar and a stand out guy who looks out for his family and loved ones in every way he possibly can. The accident is a blow to all of us around him and we want him better in the best shape possible, anything at all helps. thank you all!

HELP ERV PAY FOR HOSPITAL FUNDS

<div>My name is Farbod Kokabi, and I'm raising funds to help my dear friend TJ Blake and his partner Heather Anthony rebuild their lives. On the morning of April 2nd 2023, TJ and Heather lost all of their possessions as a result of a fire at the North High Ridge Apartments in Midtown Atlanta.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone who knows, or has met either TJ or Heather has had the fortune of being in the presence of their perpetual graciousness, empathy and love, and in this time of need, I hope you can show them the same qualities. TJ is a staple of the Atlanta/Poncey-Highlands community, having spent many years as a friendly face at the Highland Inn, and providing major contributions to Atlanta's experimental music scene, advancing the cultural landscape of the city.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These funds will be used to assist in immediate housing, food, clothing, and general worldly goods, all of which they lost in the fire. Thank you.
</div>

TJ & Heather lost everything, please help

<div>Hi Everyone,
</div>
<div>Our names are Alán, Phil, Ellie, Ivane &amp; Jordan. As you may know our 5 person (and 2 dog ) household was displaced by the 2-alarm fire that occurred on Hayes &amp; Divisadero in the early morning hours of January 22, 2023.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While all people and pets are physically safe, the damage to 1308 was severe and most of our personal possessions and work supplies were destroyed by smoke, fire, and/or water. The funds raised will go towards organizing immediate rehousing and replacing essential items such as medication, medical supplies, clothing, bedding, hygiene products, electronic devices and art supplies used for work, cooking utensils and dog food/supplies.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Collectively we have all lived and worked in the neighborhood for over 12 years, and are deeply invested in the community here. We never planned on leaving the 'hood, and hopefully with your support we will be able to put down roots here again in the near future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank our friends, family, neighbors and loved ones near and far for reaching out to check in and support us during this challenging time. We're a resilient bunch but we couldn't do any of this without you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Love,

1308 Hayes Fire Recovery Fund

<div>Hi, this is Mira’s mom and dad, We are helping organize this fundraiser for Mira and her beautiful kitty Bukka.
</div>
<div>Here is Mira and Bukka’s story:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi all, friends, family, music fans.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I had hoped to use this platform for music and art projects, but (alas) I am reaching out to you for help during one of the most difficult times in my life.
</div>
<div>My beloved cat, Bukka, has been diagnosed with cancer and I am being evicted from my home of over 11 years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Bukka is precious to me and is family. There is treatment (and a lot of hope) for Bukka’s diagnosis, but the costs are a lot and are estimated to be a lot more, for all her medical tests, surgery and treatments.
</div>
<div>We would be so grateful for your help to save her life (and mine).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I, like many musicians and performers, haven't fully recovered from the pandemic financially, mentally, and emotionally. As I’m sure all of you can understand.
</div>
<div>At the same time as all of this, I’m being evicted from my home of over 11 years and need help paying back rent owed, estimated moving costs and the estimated cost of securing housing.
</div>
<div>I’m really hoping I can have a secure place for Bukka to rest and recover from treatment.
</div>
<div>The cost of housing has skyrocketed in Los Angeles, but I would like to stay in the community I know and love here.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will list the costs for Bukka’s medical expenses and the costs for our housing below.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you in advance, and so much love to you all. I promise to bring more music to you when I’m out of this difficult time.
</div>

Save Bukka and Mira

<div>In December our friend Drew was hospitalized and his diagnosis is VERY serious.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>A good friend to many, a Rad Dad, Pizza Ripper and all around loved guy Drew Cramer - AKA “Personal” for those who know him as the fearless leader of the Pizza Army - is in need of some serious DOUGH!
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>After a number of procedures, consultations with specialists and medications, Drew is now recovering at home. There are many more procedures and appointments to come. Drew’s day to day since his hospitalization has been intense and his new job is now taking complete care of himself in hopes for the best possible outcome and recovery. He is unable to work. We are at the beginning stages of this journey, but we’re all confident that he can get through this with this really great support system of Family, Friends and Pizza fans.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Drew's spirits are good and his sense of humor is still dark. ‘Last call’ was announced, the sound guy cut the PA and Drew hasn’t had a drink since his hospitalization in December. Just because there aren't pints of Newcastle Brown involved, it doesn't mean Drew can't still talk your ear off about Venom.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>
</div>
<img class="m-text-editor-image" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/63146489_1644193996857620_r." alt="" width="100%" media_type="3" />
<div>
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Drew has given his life to rock and roll, and we all know the financial position this can put a rocker in. Drew thankfully does have medical coverage, however the medical bills and co-pays as well as the general cost of living are beginning to present a challenge, and Drew has started to dip into his personal pizza tips aka savings, and that’s not gonna last very long.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>At this point, Drew’s prognosis remains unknown and requires a lot of “wait and see”. We are all optimistic that with lots of rest, new medications, strict diet, and great doctors, the rocker we know and love will be doing what he does best again soon. Importantly there is a very real possibility of a major organ transplant in his future- and this will require at least 6 months of recovery time. From Drew to you- “Please help your favorite rock n roll weirdo not die. Chopped Liver is NOT a pizza topping “
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>All jokes aside, this is serious stuff, and we want to see Drew recover as fast and stress free as possible.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>
</div>
<img class="m-text-editor-image" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/63146489_1644193450346037_r." alt="" width="100%" media_type="3" />
<div>
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Drew’s loving family and daughter Lida, his sweetheart Lindsay and his friends are doing all they can to help, but this will be a very challenging, long year and any financial help that friends would be willing to donate to would be greatly appreciated.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>We’re asking that you please help out however you are able too. This new pizza joint Drew’s found himself in does NOT offer free de-LIVER-y, and even the smallest amount means a lot.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>We will keep everyone regularly updated on Drew’s progress. Messages of love and support are most welcome and appreciated if a donation isn’t possible. Thanks to everyone in advance for helping get our guy on the road to recovery and off the Highway to Hell!
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>And don’t forget to hit that <a href="https://personalandthepizzas.bandcamp.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Personal and the Pizzas bandcamp page</a> hard and often. Now’s definitely the time to buy any record that you want, if go fund me isn’t your thing.

<div>If inclined, feel free to post/share this link on any platform.

Drew Needs Our Help (Getting a Transplant!)

<p>Meet Travis. Our silly, passionate, empathetic, fiercely loyal, Travis. We all have a "Travis" in our lives. Someone who will give you the shirt off their back. Someone who will drop everything to be at your side. Someone who keeps coming back. The person you want with you for the fun and the not so fun. We all have a "Travis"... and ours is in crisis.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>On Friday July 2nd, Travis was shot 6 times in the leg, arm, chest and abdomen on the front lawn of his girlfriend's home by an unknown shooter. Travis was unarmed and taking a lunch break while helping his friend get settled into her new home. The critical injuries resulted in the loss of his pancreas, spleen, kidney, and a portion of intestines and bowels. He was also shot in his dominant elbow and twice in his leg. One of the bullets currently sits millimeters from his spine.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>The unknown assailant is still out there. We don't believe Travis knew the shooter.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Our Travis leads a peaceful life. He does not have enemies. He is a respectable, hard working, loving man who also happens to be tattooed. When you meet him, the rough exterior quickly melts and you see his authentic, silly self immediately.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Travis needs help. We don't know what the road ahead looks like for him, but we do know that it will be long and difficult and expensive. All fundraising monies will go directly to helping Travis get back on his feet when he's released from the hospital.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>We are forever grateful for the support and generosity of our community.

Travis Lee's Recovery Fund

Our dear Camille passed away St. Patrick's Day of this year and we are mourning her loss from our shelter-in isolation.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the legacy of our dear friend is in peril and her legal executor is requesting financial support from us who care about Camille's work so as to ensure that the following objectives be properly resolved in the wake of her passing:<br /><br />- settle Camille's rents accrued during her hospitalization in all fairness to her landlord and roommates.<br />- promptly settle Camille's current Page Street storage unit payments before her belongings are recklessly disposed of.<br />- safely clear Camille's bedroom, preserving all Works of Art and related ephemera.<br />- upgrade Camille's storage for the next few months so that all her Works of Art be gathered in one place, inventoried and conserved.<br />- take actions to safeguard the archive with the proper institution.<br />- organize an exhibition or showcase honoring Camille's Life and Art in the months after Covid restrictions are lifted. <br /><br />Not only did Camille perform at CBGB's and Max's Kansas City in the 60's and 70's but she also pioneered female drag as Jack Savage. She also was the first (and only) woman to ever perform in the notorious private NYC club The Mineshaft in the late 70s, as is documented in the 1978 French film, New York City Inferno. With partner Robert Opel Camille also created the infamous SOMA FeWay Gallery in San Francisco, embracing Queer Arts  and Beat culture, and up to this last year was performing and generously volunteering art toward the 'Windows for Milk' annual art walk in the Castro.<br /><br />We are in contact with the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco and will be working with them to preserve and protect her archives that document her role as the important culture maker, performance and visual artist that she was.<br /><br />Thank you in advance for your help during these particularly difficult times as we work to place and protect these important Works of Art created by this most remarkable woman, Camille O'Grady.<br /><br />If you'd like to contribute, please don't delay and, as importantly, SHARE our call further down Camille's community of incredible artists and friends.<br /><br />We now invite you to visit these LINKS and reminisce on Camille's fabulous journey :<br /><a href="http://www.instagram.com/camilleogradymultimedium/">www.instagram.com/camilleogradymultimedium/</a><br /><a href="https://youtu.be/IPW-vE3nFxw"><a href="https://youtu.be/IPW-vE3nFxw" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://youtu.be/IPW-vE3nFxw</a></a><br /><a href="https://youtu.be/A3-zh2CZ0rY"><a href="https://youtu.be/A3-zh2CZ0rY" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://youtu.be/A3-zh2CZ0rY</a></a><br /><a href="https://youtu.be/zUF482Y1blk"><a href="https://youtu.be/zUF482Y1blk" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://youtu.be/zUF482Y1blk</a></a><br /><a href="http://www.augustnation.com/camille-ogrady">www.augustnation.com/camille-ogrady</a><br /><a href="https://leatherati.com/lunch-with-camille-dce6804f9966"><a href="https://leatherati.com/lunch-with-camille-dce6804f9966" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://leatherati.com/lunch-with-camille-dce6804f9966</a></a><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/47373212_1586807768643353_r.jpeg" alt="47373212_1586807768643353_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/47373212_1586881113172734_r.jpeg" alt="47373212_1586881113172734_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />
